SA called today- the part was never needed. A software update fixed everything. I should get my GGT this week!

My GGT remains in Chicago. It was set to be delivered today to my house in Michigan. The steering rack has to be replaced and they have no idea when I will get my vehicle, "probably" by EOM. I waited 9 months... I can wait a few more days. But, MAN it still feels like Christmas was cancelled...

I do have rear steering but no specification. He made sure I understood that the car was operating fine. It was just an alert that needs to be checked by the engineers.

Well my Wednesday delivery has been canceled- apparently there is a steering alert but the car drives fine. No timeline on my delivery..... maybe later this week, maybe next week. Who knows. Beyond annoying.

This is an interesting discussion. I do get frustrated that most people in my life have never heard of Lucid, but I also kind of enjoy that I will have such a unique ride (for now). I hadn't considered the lack of supply and the fact they might not want to be slammed with orders they can't...

On 8/21 my SA called and said the GT was made, and should be in my driveway in roughly 2 weeks. He emailed me 8/27 and said it was being shipped to Chicago on 8/28 and then it would be inspected and delivered to me in the Detroit area a few days later. So I expect to finalize payment and...

How long until delivery once a VIN is assigned? Or has it varied wildly?
