Creep mode default setting?

Yes agree with creep mode. It has become an automatic response when I get in the car to engage it. Seems a simple fix to be able to permanently set it to creep.
 
Just to give an alternative reality check... does it seem weird that having a car that drifts forward when you don't tell it to move seems "normal", compared to one that only moves when you press the accelerator? If ICE cars hadn't behaved this way for decades, I think we'd consider it a defect and safety hazard.

Oh like, like, like. An ev is not an ice car. I mean why aren’t we comparing it to a non synchro manual transmission? With the throttle it can creep in inches if you hit the “gas” just a bit. I didn’t think I would like one pedal driving but it actually works well with toodling down the road. If I’m going to get sporty then I want regen off.

I agree or maybe mostly agree...except when I "get sporty" I really want the hard regen. I didn't think I'd like OPD either (esp when I first experienced it) but now that I'm used to it (and it certainly didn't take long) it's actually a more precise way to control such a heavy vehicle - like hard-downshifting a stick shift. YMMV

It's great for getting in position to blast around that last slow-ass car to open highway ahead... then, g-bye now!

Why DO ppl drive slower than traffic in the #1 lane?...please explain it to me. Pass the dang truck already!..why would anyone want to be next to a big truck for more time anyway??
The way I was taught back when schools had "driver's ed" was that you're suppose to exit the #1 lane ASAP after passing to make way in case emergency vehicles need to pass.

I like the signs in Baja which translate to "Left lane is for passing ONLY"!!

Creep mode keeps the rotors fresh and free of random, you brake better in an emergency.

It is also smoother off the light than feathering the go pedal.
 
Roll is my preferred choice. Only need the brake to stop from 3-5 mph. Much smoother for small movement or allowing the car to glide into position. As long as they give choices. Not sure why a creep selection is not allowed to stay, roll does. Select it once and it stays selected.
 
I think that if Lucid's vehicles were a little smoother at light throttle from a stop, fewer people would look for creep.
Our Volvo EV and prior Model 3 performance were notably smoother coming off "hold" in one-pedal driving.
 
That's the beauty of choice. Some like 1PD, some like 2PD. There is no right or wrong. I prefer 2PD, but I won't try to claim 1PD is the wrong way or talk like it's not a valid a choice. They both have their pros and cons.

You mean select it and it stays as that’s the default option setting.
 
Yes I selected roll years ago. I gave not had to reselect. Unlike drowsy driver (off) or Sprint, both which I have to toggle every time I drive.
