Just checking in… 👋

It’s been a while, so I wanted to make sure you still remember that Air owners exist. 😂

We love our cars, and there’s still so much potential sitting behind that beautiful screen. But we’re starting to wonder…

Where are the OTA updates with new features? 🤔

New features?
Sentry Mode?
Other goodies that make our Airs even better?

Every time we hear about an upcoming update, Air owners are sitting here like:

“Is this our turn?” 👀
“Maybe the next update?”
“Surely they didn't forget about us…”
😂
Meanwhile, our OTA update screen seems to be saying:

ETA: SOON™
Status: Still thinking about it…
😎

So, please don't forget about the Air owners who helped get you here. ❤️

C’mon Lucid… throw us some OTA love! 🚀

Air owners: What features are you hoping Lucid brings to the Air next?

Not that lucid hasn’t improved things or added features over the years, but would like to see a UI and feature set comparison against Tesla, Rivian, ect from the past several years.

Reminds me of the comedian that talked about needing to avoid dairy, and you look over at the dairy isle in the store and they’re all wearing party hats

They released a statement that the upgrades will be less frequent some time ago. They have also made it known that 3.0 is coming to Air this fall. We are not forgotten.

Hopefully UX 3.0 is just a few months away. I am a little worried that it will lead to more issues when things have been running a lot smoother overall on the current Air software.

I’d be surprised if we ever get it, company obviously moving towards Gravity and Cosmos. They’re on survival mode idk why they would even mess with it right now.

Speaking of updates and love/hate, would love to see a bump in 2028 model year EPA 100% range on the Air. I think I might extend my lease by a few months (Lucid Financial says it is possible 180 days out from when my lease is up) so that I can bypass the 2027 Air (no range updates to be seen here folks, keep moving) and get a 2028 Air which (in a year) will hopefully produce more range (dreaming ahead SSB) and yes updates!! sri, I like your graphic, the dog says it all, ho-hum.

I dont mind a delay in updating Air software ....save money and get company financially stable...

I think they should fix the Gravity stuff first. Make the HUD what people expect it to be, do the node recall stuff, fix QA, fix service. No need to drop everything and update cars they already sold. Make the Cosmos first.

Meanwhile, let's enjoy our robustness!

I should hope that Lucid has enough developers to work on more than one thing at a time. Especially given I thought they had contracted a third party to help them with the HUD specifically.

Besides, too many people trying to fix the same thing just doesn't work. It's kind of a " too many cooks spoil the soup" kind of thing.

You want your devs working on different things in parallel.

Given the prior announcements around a fall 26 launch of UX 3.0 I suspect that the majority of the development work is behind them. While delays are entirely possible, there’s no reason to believe it won’t be released in the near future.
