Look I’ve had my eyes wide open knowing it was
1) coming with buggy software and also vapor ware
2) a first year car so expected some mechanical issues as well

I’m no apologist either and fully recognize that things needed changing within the business

But overall I’ve been happy and while empathetic to those who have long wait times for service
 
I’m hopeful for a better version of the gravity hence why I waited so long before pulling the trigger. No car is perfect and I try the follow the mantra of keeping your problems smaller than your life. Let a faulty/buggy (fill in the blank) be the worst of my problems.

I'm pretty sure that one is a software issue.
 
The fact appears to be they don’t know what is causing the window issues. All of my windows have at least one regulator replaced and all of them still have up/down issues. But they’re inconsistent and tough to replicate when at SC. Like many Lucid gremlins, these are consistently inconsistent issues.

Ultimately, Lucid is probably losing a crap ton of money switching out hardware that seems to only be a short term fix. SCs are doing their best, no doubt, but I’ve heard three different versions of what’s “wrong” with the windows from three Gravity experts at our SC.

Like the fob that now works very well (mine does, at least), they’ll get it fixed. But it will take a long time and it would be awesome if they’d be more transparent about the issue(s).

My motor wasn’t replaced
It was loose causing the window to go off track and needed tightening
I suppose my issue isn’t the same as yours

That is a feature - sort of like the bear looking toward the back of the car. Right side is a mirror image of the driver side - cool, eh? 🤣
 
Is anyone else having an issue with wireless CarPlay after 6.3.4? I can’t get it to work even when forgetting and repairing the device or trying other iPhones. Sorry, I may have asked this question already…

My Gravity is in for service but I had 6.3.4 before it went in and wireless CarPlay was working fine for me (iPhone 17 Pro Max but with the iOS 27 beta).

Was talking to the sales rep with how I’ve ended up with almost every common problem so far (steering wheel replaced, console replaced, coolant system replaced, rear seat recall performed, fob replaced, passenger side window recalibrated and now the driver window off track) but this service center had actually been fairly efficient and expedient and can’t imagine how someone on the west coast or in New York would deal with this car and the wait times they experienced

Can at least get it nearly all the way closed but there is a definite gap. Good news is the heat dome over TX right now won't allow for any rain in the foreseeable future.

There is a trick if you are fast with the button, you can just force it up to close a bit with tiny increment pulls up....

My SC said something similar, it was an alignment problem with the window, I have gently nudged it outward with my elbow and then it will close and not hit the upper seal. I had issues with delivery in winter time and then it hot summer time, so we concluded something has moved slightly due to temperature gradients....either way this is a problem that appears to be newly invented in cars. My loaner Air is very refreshing in that down means down and up means up all the time on the driver window...

It's definitely a window alignment/regulator issue (possibly similar to @BrianBigNFun) as I was able to get the window to go up by pushing the glass in and out a little bit. Service ticket has been put in, so we'll see what the final diagnosis is though.

I had this issue. Turns out I haven't used CarPlay since before the my last iPhone update. There was some iPhone agreement stuff apple wanted me to approve before it could be used that only showed up on the phone when I was in the car AND IN PARK. Normally the phones in my pocket. The info in the lucid said it was paired but nothing would show up from it. Once I pulled the phone out saw the request and agreed to whatever they wanted :) all was good again with the Lucid.
