Where is UX 3.0 for the Air?

My 25' AGT is a lovely car, but I'm baffled as to why a $130k car doesn't have equivalent tech as my daughters 22' Tesla Model 3. Cameras, LIDAR, etc, and the thing still cant drive itself. The native AI is a joke and cant answer the most basic questions. I have to reboot weekly.

Didnt they say they replaced it with a better one? For me it didn't change.

I'm in love with the AGT and will order as soon as my config is available, which includes DDP (i.e., all that tech you're talking about). Despite all that tech, an Associate acknowledged that, if I want "dashcam capability," I'd need to purchase and install one.

Likely because Tesla has been developing their software for about ten years longer then Lucid has.
Tesla's software was far rougher than Lucid's is at the same stage in their respective companies' development.
I expect things will be very different a year from now, though the Air won't ever drive itself. That capability hasn't been in the cards since about 2022.

They replaced it with one they have more control over, and can thus improve over time. The SoundHound prior implementation left a lot to be desired.

They may not have prioritized improving it yet, but at least now they *can*

That's what it was, and originally Alex or something.

It tells jokes pretty good though I will give it that. It was contextual to my location!

Prior to soundhound it was Alexa, yeah.

Didn't they demo a version that was using Gemini? And even said it was going to come to the air first?

Tesla cannot drive itself , that’s why you need a person in the drivers seat. It also diesnt have CarPlay, no redundancy in autonomous driving, no massaging seats, less space, poor ride and handling, more distracting since you only have a center screen, no stalk to change drive settings , no passenger lumbar support ….I can go on and on…..
 
The updated Siri in the CarPlay makes the ai voice assistant pointless. I drive around getting all sorts of assistance now. I literally asked it to call the Italian restaurant in a specific building while driving (no name, just genre of food and location) and it called. I don’t know why Lucid is trying to compete here

When point to point gets released it presumably won't work with commands via Carplay/AA. Fortunately, Lucid's new assistant will leverage other models so it should be solid.
 
I just returned from Bangkok where I rode around in $20,000 Chinese EV's with incredible software and suspension. Charging stations all over Bangkok. Flawless software from what I observed. On this forum we kind of act like it's this huge ask to just have a car whose basic functions are stable, but at this point it's not. Everyone else is doing it. I know it's not as easy as copy / pasting the software from Tesla and others, but good grief, how hard is it to add a 10 second delay to the lock sequence so it doesn't lock when you walk around from one side to the other side of the car? Clearly, super hard.

I'm not sure I'm reading the subtleties of your post correctly, but I'm a bit baffled why you bought an AGT if you don’t appreciate its virtues as much as you appreciate the strengths of a model 3.

Using a phone or the fob? With the fob it stays unlocked

I’m curious was this a few short rides in EVs or living with one consistently for a week?
