Tahoe is gorgeous
We went with the Mojave Purluxe for the dog and our one regret on this vehicle is not getting the Tahoe. We had it on our overnight demo and debated it awhile. Next one will have the Tahoe. My wife and I chose Tahoe as our least favorite interior from the pictures online. Once we test drove one with it we changed our order to Tahoe.
Definitely a cult, I think the leather is outgassing some kind of drugs.
I hate cults. My wife grew up in one. I have a strong distaste for anyone that tells me what I should think or like.Dear cult leader has spoken!
I was able to charge immediately.I’d like to know if Gravity owners can immediately charge at NACS superchargers ? Or do they need to wait like Air owners for the ability?
Congratulations! Hope you enjoy your Gravity as much as we have ours....On the issue of delivery, my sales guy says that when you pick up the car, a Lucid employee gives you an orientation focused on the tech, like connecting phones, setting profiles, etc. Is this true? Any suggestions about what I should cover with this employee? My salesman says that he will make sure that 3.6.3 is loaded during the PDI process as well. I'm not entirely sure he can control that, but I guess I will find out...
Also a former Land Rover lemon law survivor. You will be very pleased with the Gravity I think.First post here. Delivery date August 15. Aurora GT, with every option but the trailer hitch. I live in Seattle, so the delivery location is a few minutes drive away. As is the service center. Separately, my local contact at the Studio here in Seattle just told me that as of August 13, Lucid will finally be set up to allow for direct sales to customers, so I will be his first direct sale. He also said, for Washington residents, that loan financing through Lucid will be available as well, finally. Although I can't find anything that says this, he insisted that for Washington State, for some reason, you could lease or you could pay in cash--no longer term loans. That supposedly ends on the 13th as well. Lucid's August deals include sub-market loan terms, too, so I won't have to use the third-party bank financing which I had set up.
Anyway, I'm relieved to see posts in this thread generally saying that now is finally the time to feel comfortable buying this car. 6 months ago, when we were shopping, the internet was telling me otherwise. So we bought a Range Rover Sport SV. Stupid money, although when it worked it was a true pleasure to drive. I will miss the sound of full throttle pulls with open exhaust valves for sure, and the suspension was very trick--when it worked. But the car developed a suspension fault that the dealer could not fix, so we made a Lemon Law claim and Land Rover capitulated. Getting every cent back....and now it's time to get the car I wanted from the beginning. Intrigued by the dynamics of this car, joining the EV world, etc.

Zero leverage for me last week getting accessories, wanted roof shade, insert in front of 7 seater and homelink (not built in my model). First two out of stock, homelink appointment in two weeks. Salesperson had demoed many features when test driving, delivery was friendly and answered all equations and provided some tips. Sales and Delivery were both good experiences,Make sure to get your key fob and card key assigned to your profile. Also if you haven't already get a second key fob up front.get them to create the profiles for any of the drivers of the car. inspect the car for any scratches, have them go through getting the seats up and down (2nd and 3rd row). Also if there are any accessories you might want to see about getting them now (you might have some leverage on actually getting the accessories now instead of waiting).
I am definitely getting two fobs, as this car, theoretically, is going to be more the wife's car than mine. So does that mean each of our fobs is going to respond to our own settings? I'm so old school I prefer manuals, and my modified OG M2 is my daily, so I don't know how much driving I am actually going to do after awhile. I have already gotten the weather mats and the frunk seat. Would love a gap cover and the sunshades, but Lucid ain't selling them now. None of these items is cheap, I will say that. Which should not surprise me. From what I can tell on YouTube, I may just want to keep the third row stowed, because the kids are well out of the house and the direct rear view out the back window seems pretty limited as it is, plus the headrests...Make sure to get your key fob and card key assigned to your profile. Here's a thorough checklist to remind yourself of all the things you may want to go over at delivery:Any suggestions about what I should cover with this employee?
Thank you! Not sure I could do either version in 60-90 minutes, and I trust some of the things we needed to look for in December of 2025 are not concerns anymore, but there's a lot here that makes sense in any event...Here's a thorough checklist to remind yourself of all the things you may want to go over at delivery:
My warning sign should’ve been that when we were picking our vehicle out there was like 10 buybacks parked next to it in the same lot. The service department was also very well-versed in how to process a buyback and that went very quickly. The funny part about land rover is they made a kids movie about how bad they are....cars 2🏎
