High pitch electrical noises

Could you say more on how you went about getting in there and taping this? The high pitched noise coming from the window buttons is giving both my wife and myself migraines…
Just using tape to seal the gaps between the switches and the switch housing as best as possible without restricting the motion of the switches. There’s no trick to it. Made a significant difference on my Air.

But with a recent software update it seems Lucid has fixed this problem in the Air. There are still other (less annoying) high pitched noises but not as far as I can tell from the window switches.

Tweezers, a tiny screw driver to poke, and patience. It is a bit tricky to get it in there nicely because there is no space to work.

Right now at night when the headlights are on cup your hand and cover your window switches. The majority of the electrical sound is coming from there. The tape is meant to seal the tiny gap between the switch and the housing.

I don't notice the tape with typical switch use. I did this to all switches and had probably a 70% reduction. Without this it was highly grating to my ears. It does make a difference but it's not perfect.

That’s simpler than I expected, thank you. I ordered a door trim removal kit thinking I had to get in there. Maybe I’ll try that anyway and give it a shot.

Be careful if you do remove the door trim. I was told by a service tech that at least on the Air it's easy to break the clips.
