Lucid has shipped my car 6 times, they use a couple different shipping brokers. They’ll post a move offer for your car, from Penn to CA, and how much they are willing to pay to ship it. Truckers login and decide if they want to do it. From Penn to CA I bet you’ll see it in 2-3 weeks. They have used RunBuggy, AES, and Urgntly to ship mine, so they got a lot of brokers. Car shipping is a nightmare though, be glad you don't have to handle it yourself.I just ordered an inventory vehicle that is apparently on the East Coast (Pennsylvania) while I'm on the West Coast (SF area). I'm seeing no updates on the order indicating that it is being shipped and the SA advised me that it can take a while to get a truck driver that can do point to point like this. Meanwhile, that car is still searchable on an inventory search so I'm worried that there might be multiple people who've "ordered it".
Has anyone been through a long distance dealer-to-dealer inventory order like this who can share some perspective on shipping and delivery timelines and whether the web site showing "ordered inventory vehicles" might be a problem?
