I'm seeing no updates on the order indicating that it is being shipped and the SA advised me that it can take a while to get a truck driver that can do point to point like this. Meanwhile, that car is still searchable on an inventory search so I'm worried that there might be multiple people who've "ordered it".

Has anyone been through a long distance dealer-to-dealer inventory order like this who can share some perspective on shipping and delivery timelines and whether the web site showing "ordered inventory vehicles" might be a problem?

Lucid has shipped my car 6 times, they use a couple different shipping brokers. They’ll post a move offer for your car, from Penn to CA, and how much they are willing to pay to ship it. Truckers login and decide if they want to do it. From Penn to CA I bet you’ll see it in 2-3 weeks. They have used RunBuggy, AES, and Urgntly to ship mine, so they got a lot of brokers. Car shipping is a nightmare though, be glad you don't have to handle it yourself.

I'd really love to get into something that doesn't make my hip ache, but that will at least satisfy their delivery deadline for the current incentives (though those incentives may just get renewed anyway).

Does it help if I call up my SA every five minutes and ask "Are we there yet?"

shipping is done through service!
 
Given they’re now only running one production shift, and with the 0% financing, I’d definitely try to find something in inventory even if you have to give up some options. Shipping, even if it’s already at a location, takes forever as they want more than one car to ship and there’s not a ton of incentive to get it to you until end of quarter.

This is why I took delivery in PA last August though I live in MD. Estimate for that transfer was “weeks or a month or…” even though the car was literally “on the lot”.

I have thought about a cross country road trip to christen the car.
 
Am i the only one not able to see any inventory? When i click the link it only shows Air and the toggle to change to gravity is not there.

I just brought up the inventory page, and have no problem selecting the Gravity toggle. Chrome on an Apple laptop.

I've recently switched from the 2026 in Philly that seems to be having trouble finding a truck to ship it...
To a newer 2027 build coming from the Arizona factory.

OK, so all that stuff I said about "ewww, Tahoe, it's sooo ... orange!". Yeah, um, don't ask me what color the new config is. I'll be hiding in the sea of "everybody ordered this style" Gravitys out there...

Meanwhile, I'm getting a fresh build out of the factory that will hopefully arrive much sooner...

I thought the same about Tahoe, but I ordered it, and now I like it.

My wife and I chose Tahoe as our least favorite interior from the pictures online. Once we test drove one with it we changed our order to Tahoe.

Definitely a cult, I think the leather is outgassing some kind of drugs.
 
I sat in a Tahoe Gravity today. I loved it. It was much better than Cats. I am going to see it again and again...

I have Tahoe and I really like it. Looks much better in person than in pictures. You'll like 🙂

Wow, it IS a cult...jk

Many of us accepted compromises in what we thought were our "ideal" order options and what we actually ended up with....but, driving this awesome car just seems to make all that unimportant and quite livable somehow
