Lucid designed the HUD and seems they didnā€™t know how to develop the software for it and have now outsourced that piece to another vendor.

Really makes you question what validation testing was done pre-production.
 
Just took delivery of my GT this morning.
Everything works fine at least until now.

3.5.1 is preloaded on the car. But the key fob needs update. Before update locking/unlocking works fine. I updated one of the key fobs to see if the update breaks things.

Overall had 3k selective discount, 2k conquest, 5k cooperative, 2k trade in discount, 1k demo drive, 7.5k lease discount.

I find hud works ok for me. I do see glares when driving at a specific angle, but I don't feel distracted. I still need to drive in dark though.

Questions. How do I get the verified owner status on this forum? For lease payment information, I will get them post delivery? I haven't hear anything about payment yet.

Looks like a few utility company flags - I bet there is a new home charger hanging on the wall of one of the garages!

I believe the kids would say, It's giving wagon. That's what it looks like to me after staring too long at it. Sport wagon. I ordered silver with 21/22, but glad I wound up with 22/23. They look pretty damn good.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Excited to finally be able to join and post! I've been keeping track of most threads here since placing my order in July 2025.

Just took delivery of my 2026 Gravity on 3/31! GGT, AG, Stealth, Mojave Premium, 20/21, 7 pass, with DDPro, C&C, DH, Tech, and SSPro packages. I had initially ordered one with the Tow package as well but they had this one available that matched everything else, so I'll plan to add the Tow package later. It will be a bit of a nuisance to get that installed but I don't need that immediately so it seems to be worth the trade-off for me. I received a total of $5000 in discounts for this purchase, so I'm reasonably happy with this as opposed to waiting for the 2027 model (looks like a similar config for 2027 would be at least $4k more before any discounts). I do live over 100 miles from the nearest service center/showroom so it was delivered to me at home. I was given a delivery window of 1-5pm but it was finally delivered at almost 10pm, in the dark and right in the middle of a thunderstorm. Was frustrating that I couldn't see it during the daylight that day.

I haven't taken it out of my garage yet, and still need to go through everything on the checklist and make a few initial purchase for it. I'm planning on getting the LinerX all weather floor mats at least, and then seeing what else I need/want after that.

It's been completely quite from the delivery and sales teams since I received this, so while I'm waiting to hear back from them, a few questions for the forum. How does the initial inspection/walkthrough, due bill, and orientation work for home deliveries? I want to make sure I don't miss anything. Fortunately I didn't see anything egregious so far. I hope the recent second row recall doesn't apply to this but have to double check that.

One specific question, I'm in NYS where I'm required to have a front license plate. However, the front license plate holder is not mounted, but it looks was provided and sitting in the trunk currently. Would that be something that I could get mobile service to install? (Or do people in NYS just skip the front plates altogether?) How does getting the actual plates from NYS DMV work? I was told that Lucid will take care of registration and plates but again I still haven't heard anything.

I'm in NY as well, the SC installed the front plate bracket after I asked them to, so I assume Mobile should be able to do it (it's just drilling the bumper).
They did handle the registration but it took a long time and a lot of back and forth. I transferred the plates from my trade in but had to use the temporary AZ one until the NYS registration came.

I took delivery of my Lunar Aurora Green Titanium on 3/31--it's a bit more green than I expected but they gave me a discount and I think it'll grow on me. Stealth GT with DD premium and all the optional packages, except power instead of HUD.

The car has been amazing to drive, and I've only had two minor issues. I'm hoping they add more options in the software to control the auto-unfolding of the mirrors, and yesterday the first row passenger door did not drop its window upon opening. The window switch on that door became unresponsive, but I was able to lower it using the driver side switch. I tested it again immediately and everything worked fine (intermittent software glitch?).

Heard today that my vehicle, which I was supposed to get next week, is delayed. Per the SA, vehicle has not yet departed the factory, and a factory departure date has not been scheduled. Sucks.
 
I just ordered an inventory vehicle that is apparently on the East Coast (Pennsylvania) while I'm on the West Coast (SF area). I'm seeing no updates on the order indicating that it is being shipped and the SA advised me that it can take a while to get a truck driver that can do point to point like this. Meanwhile, that car is still searchable on an inventory search so I'm worried that there might be multiple people who've "ordered it".

Has anyone been through a long distance dealer-to-dealer inventory order like this who can share some perspective on shipping and delivery timelines and whether the web site showing "ordered inventory vehicles" might be a problem?
