Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

I got the keyfob update even though I’m on 3.5.7 :). So my guess related to the future update as welll.
I believe the app will apply the fob update every time you try it, making it look like you got a new update even if you already have it on that fob. It's not like the car where it and the app have two-way communication and it can return the status when polled.

Plus, since an owner can have more than one fob, it can't just say you already did that update. Some owners may need to do it more than once (for each fob).

What do you keyless people do for power outage? How do you get into your house? Hide the physical key somewhere?

This is a real concern in California - I have to plan for power outages.
My keypad locks work with a 9V battery that can power them briefly on the outside, even if the AAs in them die.

and I think it would be hard to have an electrical powered lock since you'd have to some how wire the whole door through one of the hinges... I guess the keypad could be hard wired, but like you and others, I have battery powered locks. mine do have a key as well if needed., but the only key I use regularly is my mailbox key since we have central boxes.

I don't get people who want to only use PAAK. Do you not have keys that you carry with you? For your house and whatever else you might own... That's what's bizarre to me, not a new EV without that feature

I neither carry a wallet nor keys and haven't in years. To the person asking about power outrage - I don't experience them as I have solar with whole home back up battery system that could sustain for days with no sun. Welcome to the modern world.

#emptypockets

Anyways....loving my Gravity still!

Having owned Teslas for the past 3 years I haven’t carried a key of any type for that long and it’s been amazing. People who complain about PAAK are just afraid of change. You need to be willing to try it and if it’s implemented correctly, you’ll never want to go back to keys or key fobs.
I'm not complaining about PAAK, I just think it's weird that people need it so badly. I'm not planning to use it because I already carry a bag with my keys and other things in it, so I have to reason to add something to my phone that will cause additional battery drain. I can see that the bagless half of the population is very pro-PAAK since they only use their pockets to carry things.

I want PAAK in the Gravity not because I wanna stop carrying a fob, but because the fob functionality still sucks on mine. I'm anxious for it as a fix, not a feature.

Although I know better than to expect PAAK to work well out of the box. It'll probably be a work in progress too when they finally offer it.

The fob's software update appears not to be tied to any particular version of vehicle software. It's just an improvement for the fob itself. Maybe the fob OTA has has an improved sleep/wake algorithm, or some change pertaining to the management of the UWB radio (I'm just making these up), or some other detail that only affects the fob's internal operation but results in an overall improvement in daily use.

App update now too. IMO, I think software update is probably inbound soon.

Wish it fixed my app so it worked 😂🫠
Really? The update didn’t fix your app? Tried a restart and uninstall/re-install and nothing?

Anyone else having problems getting the SAVE button to show up when adjusting the mirrors? It stays gray'd out now unless I move the mirrors at least 5 clicks. I don't remember it being that way before.

I just updated the app and now I’m having issues getting the Gravity to wake up via the app. Anyone else having this issue? It was working perfectly before I updated earlier today. Using iOS BTW.

Arent these all issues related to 3.6 ?!

I'm behind on keeping up to date with this 3.6.0 chat. My gravity has not calibrated so I'm waiting on a service appointment to be scheduled. I've been waiting on the NJ SC to call but they haven't yet. On my call with customer service, they did acknowledge some are having calibration issues and they expect a new software update to be issued soon. Has anyone else heard this?

Yes, I have a separate issues and customer service sent me an update text that an upcoming update "within the next few weeks" should address my issue.
