Lease return excess wear & tear

So sorry to hear your experience. Just one quasi correction: Lucid isn't making that $5K, B of A is making it. But Lucid picked B of A to be its leasing partner so I agree with you that Lucid is responsible for the experience even though it may not currently have any power over it. And I can't blame you for walking away; if this had happened to me I would do the same.
We all know this. Does it really matter?

Yes, that seems petty to me. Is the car supposed to go back like it was when leased? 🤦🏾‍♂️
 
Following this thread as my lease goes back soon, what im gathering is that fixing any damage prior to a final inspection and bill seems like the best plan. Although $200/wheel for refinishing is about market price so that doesn't seem to out of line.
