I'm trying to confirm whether all Gravity GT have massaging front seats? My order sheet says "12-Way Power Front Seats w/Memory" but no mention of Massage. I've checked as many places as I could find on the Lucid website and it *seems* like all GGT have Massage but it's a little unclear.

Interesting, I guess I hadn't noticed. If you go to the compare page at https://lucidmotors.com/compare?vehicles=gravity-grand-touring-2026 it shows this:

If you have 12-way seats you have the standard Mojave Purluxe seats, all of the other interiors have the 18-way seats. The way this is worded here it looks like there aren't even tray tables or ventilation on the standard Mojave interior? If so that might make me change my config, going to send an email off to my SA and see what they say.

It depends on the interior type. If you get a "leather" type interior, you get the massage seats.

That's what confused me. A few other references made it sound like it was all GTs, but that makes it sound like only the 18-way seats. Ventilation too.

The place I would think would be the clearest would be the detail within the config selection. But while it lists a lot of detail, it fails to differentiate those key features. That's crazy to leave that out of the description. Makes it sound like the only difference is 18-Way vs 12-Way.

I just emailed my SA for confirmation. Looks like I may have to add another $2900 to mine too. 😖 Glad I caught it this early, at least.

And just after I posted that, I got this email from my Denver SA. Damn, another $2900.

No, 12 does not have massage, it is the 18way. If you can simply go into the design for the gravity and spec it out exactly the same but just add the higher level seats that give you the 18 way. Then send me a email with the short code and I will get it changed.

I do wish Lucid would streamline its options down a little as it’s confusing what you get / what you don’t get. The website doesn’t make it easy to figure out at as well.

I’m guessing people wanted variety though as it wasn’t like this in the early days of the Air. Very limited options. I would also assume all this level of customization must add to production headaches as well.

Also, on the fence whether massaging should be standard for $96K but ventilated seats not being standard? That’s a bit disappointing.

Believe me, I am definitely not an Elon/ MAGA revolutionary dude / backer, but here is where Tesla shines. A few add ons (exterior colors / interior/ wheels), and that’s it. Everything else comes standard. Lucid nickle and dimes us for everything, like a traditional car maker even more. Unfortunately

It’s all relative. Spec out any Porsche sometime and you’ll see how much more reasonable Lucid’s options are.

Personally, I find the configuration on Lucid’s web site to be quite clear about what you get for each various option. So long as you click the little information icon it’ll explain things well.

The real head-scratcher for me is the Pure and Touring Air, where you can get massage seats, but ONLY with the Purluxe Mojave interior. All the leather interiors don’t offer a massage option.

At least they aren’t like Porsche

Since I had to pay the extra $2900 now to get the massage/ventilation/seat trays, I went ahead and upgraded to the Ojai leather seats. Wasn't worth it at +$4200 but at +$1300 it's a viable consideration. Wish I had paid more attention in the studio Monday to those samples. I had already made that decision originally so I didn't pay much attention to the other samples while there. I'm only going by the configurator, and this tweet (same config as mine: Aurora Green + Ojai).

I like the color better, and the darker wood grain on the dash.

Turns out it does say massage in the configurator, but not where you actually make the selection to compare options. You select it in INTERIOR (the different seat colors and 12 vs 18-way), but you see the features in SEATING (based on what you chose in INTERIOR).

Confusing. Should be detailed where you actually select it.

Agree- I think the website design is the issue
