Thanks @jered. Just grabbed one. Paid via ApplePay, but it was $609 total versus the $500 “price”. It was $75 for shipping!!! That’s insane. Feels like with that increase, along with the mats increase, they’re taking advantage of limited supply and more demand…kudos to them, I guess. Don’t love it as a customer, though.

Well I tried to order both the mats and the frunk cushion at the same time to save on shipping. Shipping was 150 bucks lol.
Anyone know 3rd party mats that would be a fit?

Luckily, I got the mats when they were $25 for shipping. So my blended basis will be $50 for shipping including frunk cushion. Still egregious, but not much of a choice as I did want both.

No on the mats. WeatherTech does make some you can trim, at least for trunk. I actually wish Lucid would sell front and back separately. The front ones are nice and have a good, high lip to contain rain,snow, etc. The two rears are fine, but don’t have much of a lip.

Gravity is my first Lucid and my sense is given the overall low number of deliveries (even with Air) third parties aren’t as supportive/present as they are for Tesla or even Rivian…

Same, ordered & was $156.99 for shipping - messaged my SA. They said employees pay for shipping too & barely get any discount working as an employee there

Side note on shipping. If it came overnight or in two days, I’d probably feel better. But when I ordered the mats for $25 shipping, it took well over a week. Maybe the increased cost is for better shipping. One can hope…

Also, the products may ship from different places. The mats had a TX address in the “from” area. So even if Lucid wanted to, I don’t think they could put the mats and frunk cushion in one package. There’s certainly enough room in the mats box!!!

Shipping origination and destination should be a factor in cost and delivery time.

I paid $35 shipping (to VA) for my frunk and got it in 4 days. Came from Texas.
However, the $25 you paid for mats would cost me $75.

If I order the RangeXchange Charging Adapter, I'm given the choice of standard shipping (4-7 days) or expedited (2 day FedEx).
I wish the choice existed for all items.

Forum members who are Air owners have previously recommended the LinerX mats.

Wonder if they are directly dropshipping from the factory(ies) in China given the supply chain constrains they've been showing... That'd explain the high shipping costs

I used a Dremel to cut down the three high sides so that the Lucid phone charge pad and cupholder unit would slide cleanly back and forth over it, and it fit perfectly, snapping into place between some ridges in the bottom of the console as if it were made for them. I particularly like the coin holder and the soft rubber mats in the storage bins.

If it weren't for the oversized cupholder that comes as part of the bento boxes set I wouldn't even bother to order them when they become available.

I lopped off the three high sides. It allowed the box to drop all the way to the bottom of the console and the phone charging pad to slide freely back and forth above it.

For those with kids, sill plate protector and door edge guard protectors are highly recommended. I have a scratch in my sill plate from my children's cleats and a scratch on my door edge.

How visible is the edge guard post installation?

Sill plate protection is a must, but I am awful at DIY and was hoping someone would sell precut XPel like I got on my Rivian. That was super easy to install. Did you have to do anything with the xpel other than cut it to correct length?
