Calling All Lucid Air Touring (not sure it matters; but I figured I’d point it out) Owners!

Would like to get an idea if you’ve experienced some of the same things I have and I could then say my car is “normal” for a Lucid EV. Having come over from Tesla, I have experienced my fair share of “quirky”, and thought I would share my car’s quirks to see if it’s anything unique, or par for the course. Keeping in mind, I’ve had my car for 2 months now.

Quirks:
1) 360 view randomly pops up on the Pilot Panel while driving. Doesn’t stay on for long - maybe a second - but there is no rhyme or reason for it showing up
2) Lucid startup screen shows up on the main panel behind the steering after driving for a short trip, parking and then getting back in the car maybe 2-3 mins later
3) Key Fob not found pops up almost every day (even after changing the battery numerous times)
4) Rear distance projections are inconsistent especially when backing up to an elevated sidewalk with Belgian block curbing (ex., camera tells me I have 65” remaining, when in reality, I have about 6”)
5) Initial Bluetooth connection is random. Some days automatically connects; other days, got to fight with it a bit
6) DD - some days, it’s spot on. Other days, it slows down and a car is at least 8 car lengths ahead

Don’t get me wrong - Love this car. I’m all in. Just wanted to know if others have experienced some of the same things I have.

The car thinks you’re following too closely. It will come in automatically when something is within a foot or two. If it is coming on in stop and go traffic, this is why - either you got too close or someone behind you did.

Once you start driving and pick up speed it goes away. If you close it manually, it won’t reappear again for a while.

This means your car rebooted. Lots of reasons it could’ve done that.

Odd. Do you use mobile key?

It doesn’t do parking curbs well in that way; it is telling you how far you are from the wall.

For parallel parking, curb rash assist is helpful for this.

Odd. Mine just works. Have you tried deleting and setting it up again?

Some people appear to be seeing some weird phantom braking with the current OTA. I haven’t seen it myself, but there’s a thread about it.

I have my mobile key linked, but I always use the fob. Should I disconnect the mobile key?

I’ll delete my connected device and reconnect.

I’m assuming the reboot is a good thing?

I would choose on or the other, fob or mobile. Take your card along in the wallet for a bit just to make sure you can enter in the odd event it doesn’t open. (Hasn’t happened to me but other have experienced this failure mode)

Reboot is fine, haven’t had a problem with the car rebooting.

Fob tips: do not put the fob in the cup holders = dead zone = car can not "see" it.
get a Faraday pouch for the fob when not in use = batteries should last at least a year.
the fob is more reliable than the phone

most blue jeans have a Lucid fob pocket. perfect fit. I keep it's Faraday pouch in a back pocket when not in use.

3 happens to me a lot, too. But it’s just the warning message. The car still lets you drive, right?

I’ve never been able to figure out a rime or reason to when it happens. But now I just ignore it.
