Is my car “normal” quirky?

The car thinks you’re following too closely. It will come in automatically when something is within a foot or two. If it is coming on in stop and go traffic, this is why - either you got too close or someone behind you did.

Once you start driving and pick up speed it goes away. If you close it manually, it won’t reappear again for a while.


This means your car rebooted. Lots of reasons it could’ve done that.


Odd. Do you use mobile key?


It doesn’t do parking curbs well in that way; it is telling you how far you are from the wall.

For parallel parking, curb rash assist is helpful for this.


Odd. Mine just works. Have you tried deleting and setting it up again?


Some people appear to be seeing some weird phantom braking with the current OTA. I haven’t seen it myself, but there’s a thread about it.

Would like to get an idea if you’ve experienced some of the same things I have and I could then say my car is “normal” for a Lucid EV. Having come over from Tesla, I have experienced my fair share of “quirky”, and thought I would share my car’s quirks to see if it’s anything unique, or par for the course.
