During my March service the ADAS was supposedly checked and calibrated. A month ago, while on a long distance trip, while in Drive Assist it would intermittently brake and release as I passed a vehicle on my right. Since much of that driving was on curving highways I thought the sensor might be catching a vehicle as we approached a curve, especially toward the lefthand.
This weekend I completed a 1500 mile drive on highways with long straight stretches. During this trip the intermittent braking while passing became increasingly frequent. It happened anywhere from about 10’ prior to the encounter up to midway past the vehicle. It was usually a semi-truck with a trailer(s), but also occasionally included vehicles pulling trailers and twice an SUV. It didn’t happen all the time, but enough times to keep me a bit on edge, especially with vehicles following behind me.
Since I was on a long drive, I methodically turned off each of the 14 DreamDrive settings one at a time and waited to see if the issue disappeared. No luck.
Any suggestions?
