OTA Update 2.7.0

We have tried different Wi-Fi networks with no change in wake up performance
Is your phone set up as mobile key? Are you relatively close to your car? I can’t use mobile key because A: it crushes my phone’s battery, and B: the car will never wake up via the app

With regards the brake issue our car now rolls in either direction when stopped depending on the pitch of the road. I will try to reset the software if I can follow the instrctions but why did 2.7.0 change the settings we had?

Regarding "Wake Up" our car always woke up as one would expect until the OTA update prior to 2.7.0. Since then it will not wake up at all. Very upsetting & again why do these updates always change existing settings? I've had it with this vehicle!
So it’s set to “Vehicle Hold” and it still rolls forward and back??!! Honestly I always do a software reset after an update because things tend to behave weirdly until I do.

Ok .. I'm putting this out there ..I've been waiting for AA just like everyone else...but today I found myself turning it off and switching to Lucid native apps and maps...they're simply more aesthetic to my eyes and work just fine ...I....disabled ....AA...what a circle of life...
I leave AA connected but use Lucid's UX. The streaming Tidal quality in AA was a game breaker for me but once someone posted you can use AA and the native Tidal app, I decided I'd just turn off the music automatically starting in AA and keep it in the background. I like that you can switch out of AA with a simple tap if the home button or Lucid button in AA.

And why would the DNS be an issue.
If your DNS server’s ad blocker, for example, is blocking a domain Lucid uses, that could cause failure.

Anyway, sounds like that isn’t it.

Did you check the Vehicle Hold setting in your car's settings menu?
It's rare, but I have heard of this setting being changed spontaneously by a software update.

Does anyone know how to have AA display the home screen instead of music and Google Maps on startup? I've looked over the settings on my phone and in the car and nothing.

Also, I like Google Maps in dark mode all the time and after I changed the settings to dark mode in Google Maps on my phone and in AA, it still reverts to light mode upon startup. Any suggestions.

i remember seeing something about widgets in the AA app on my phone. i did not go inside the option so i'm not sure what's available.

I have a feeling I may do the same. I've had access to AA through the Carlinkit for about a year now. But I only run it about 30% of my driving. The screens do look better in Lucid mode.
AA is far more user friendly and attractive on my wife's Audi big screen.

Did anyone figure out how to properly configure day/night mode to automatically switch based on the time of the day? Mine seem to be stuck in a day mode and blinding me during night driving. I can manually switch to night mode but then I have to switch again manually to day mode when its very bright outside. I don't believe it is Lucid issue but something with Phone and Android Auto configuration. Can someone confirm automatic mode works correctly for them and what settings did you use?

Have this same issue as well. The automatic mode is not working and just blinding you at night. I think it's a Lucid issue since it works fine on other cars with AA on the same phone.

It has to do with the time, and Lucid does not control the settings on your Android phone. I suspect it’s a settings issue.

On my Ioniq 5, it is actually controlled by some daylight sensor since AA turns to dark mode when going into a tunnel for example. Would hope it's something similar for Lucid also.

Edit: Come to think of it, it might actually be based on the automatic low beams if I had to guess.

Got the update 2 days ago. The start up time has improved. I no longer need to wait 1 minute to shift to D or R.

New issue. I use CarPlay but use the native Spotify for music. The car now no longer remembers the source I was using right before I get out of the car and the default is CarPlay. For instance, I was driving and using the native Spotify app. I got out of the car and picked up my daughter. Back in the car, the source is no longer Spotify. It would default back to CarPlay. Never an issue before. Not end of the world but annoying.

Yeah I’m seeing this too. Seems like a new bug.

Android auto settings has subset for Maps - day/night/automatic. On the other end, I switched WAZE to dark mode and it also changed google maps to dark mode.

Same with tidal. And I can see the car switch sources as soon as my iPhone connects.

Because of the Tidal playlist bug I always pause the music when leaving the car and resume when I enter, so if I’m fast enough I can resume Tidal before my CarPlay connects.
