27GB Android Mobile App?

No need to force stop the phone app with 2.4.1. I verified and in 2 separate occasions the car goes to sleep in about 8 minutes without closing the app.

Very weird, mine is only 1.63GB and it's only used 37MB of data since April 15th. Didn't notice any of the other issues mentioned either.. only checked this thread because I just got 2.4.1 and thought it was about that version.

Has anyone kept 2 4.1 open, and verified that it's not keeping the car awake and draining the battery? I installed 2.4.1 but force stopped and closed the app.
Yes. 2.4.1 is the fix.

Yes. No memory leak with 2.4.1. unfortunately I now have an issue with waking up the vehicle. <sigh>

It's as if the devs are just asking ChatGPT how to fix their app problems.

A joke that carries some real life possibility.

2.4.1 wakes the car quickly for me. Also minimal memory usage so far. All good.

Turn off WiFi in the car as a temporary workaround, and see if that helps. (Leaving this here mostly for other people that see this and don’t see the other thread)

Yes. This worked. Thanks!

This morning after pushing the handle 5 times, I used the app to unlock. Later 1 press was enough. The widget updates every 15 min. Perhaps, when the door handle is pressed just after the 15 min refresh, the car unlocks faster because it was kind of awake.

Mine was a wifi issue. All good now

@marqie, are the app developers working on fixing this? Mine was over 15GB of "Data" when I updated from 2.4.0 to 2.4.1 and has now reached 18GB...

I don't think the memory leak got resolved. I had previously deleted all data and reinstalled the app few days ago. It was at around 700MB at the time but now it's at 11GB.

Updated to new app 4 days ago. I'm on an s24 ultra with UI7.

Are you seeing significant data utilization?

Wow, 27GB definitely sounds way too big for a mobile app like Lucid—it’s not a game or something media-heavy, so it shouldn't be using that much space. This could be due to cached files, offline content, or possibly a bug causing it to store too much data over time. You might want to try clearing the app’s cache or data from your phone settings, or even reinstalling it to see if that frees up space. It’s also worth checking with a file manager app to see what exactly is taking up all that storage.

I would recommend clearing data and cache. Uninstall and reinstall from app store. Hopefully that helps. If not then there is likely still an issue
That's what I did last time hence why I said that I think the issue still exists. I'll do it one more time just in case.
