Hello from UAE

Welcome!

What sort of buzz is there around Lucid in your region? Are people aware of the company or cars? Is it only a select group of enthusiasts? Is anyone aware of the major investments from the PIF in Lucid?

Brand awareness is work in progress here to say the best, I bet some might think it's Chinese.

I am looking forward to get mine and answering quearions from neighbors.

Outside of this forum the overwhelming majority of people in the US have probably never heard of Lucid either.

Hopefully new CEO is working on brand awareness because those in the know are aware they make a superior product

Are you hearing anything about customers in your region receiving the Gravity?

Not sure about Saudi but my studio advisor in Dubai says if I order now most likely end of year delivery.

I presume that means those hundreds or thousands sent to Saudi are sold.

I already spoke to Lucid Saudi and told me that all Gs send to Saudi are sold already except couple ones reserved for VIPs.
I wish we had some of those Saudi customers on this forum to provide some feedback.

And yet it's possible or even likely that those Gravity sales are to the government as part of the agreement signed in 2022.

We know he is, given the brand partnership with Timothy Chalamet and the partnership with Uber/Nuro, etc.

No idea what they’re doing for UAE, but I imagine they’ll work on that too, given the proximity to KSA.

Hi there, soon to receive the first batch of Air GT here in UAE, looking forward to it.
I Don’t recommend i bought one since last month , after sale service is very bad third party who is doing the service
Still needs time

They have one small showroom in Dubai, building bigger one in Dubai and finding a place in Abu Dhabi at the moment.

For maintenance they are using BMW facility at the moment.

To be honest, market is not easy here as its flooded with cheap Chinese vehicles which is pro at giving close to false advertisement, such as big ad for EV with 1000km range! (yes, with an engine as generator). They also copy the look of other brands as most of people don't even know or care the guts of the vehicle.

I am doing my best here to promote the future of EV that's presently available, offering ride to neighbour if they are interested in the brand, which attracted some Tesla owner hates. LOL

Did you buy new?

I have a little cosmetic defect which they are replacing now, other than that no issue.

That’s not true , they are not using BMW
for me it was the worst decision i have ever made tell now im suffering with a defect and they could not solve the problem .
They take my care for more then a month and returning back with same issue and its a safety issue

They are using Pitstop which I believe is affiliated with BMW.

What exactly is the safety issue you are having?
