Or a Polestar 3. One way or another, I'll have Google maps in my vehicle. You’ll have a Gravity before Android Auto comes.

Any updates?Hi, everyone. We wanted to provide the Lucid Air community with an update on the release of Android Auto. Although we anticipated that Android Auto would be available in the Lucid Air by the end of this year, we are still in the phase of certification with Google. We know many of you have been eagerly awaiting Android Auto for what feels like an eternity, and we are sorry to ask that you wait just a little longer. We will provide an update on the status as soon as we can.
It is a pretty unbelievable situation. If we are still waiting on Friday, March 20, 2025 at 10:42 PM EDT, we will officially not only have missed last fall, but also last winter and last spring.
Marqie, have we had an update on status?Hi, everyone. We wanted to provide the Lucid Air community with an update on the release of Android Auto. The post I referenced above is from last year. 6-8 months after their promised timing for AA we still haven't had an update.I have no idea why they are waiting until the fall? I used to work there, and I still have friends who work there. They have a working beta of Android Auto. I wish they would just release it!!!!
Well isn't the latest guesstimate Sept of 2025? So technically, the title "Confirmed: Android Auto coming this fall!" is correct...Can we change the subject of the thread since confirmed this fall has fallen apart
Let’s make it “delayed by Google or Android” since Lucid communicated that to us.
The original contextual date of the post didn’t age well but agreed, probably accurate nowWell isn't the latest guesstimate Sept of 2025? So technically, the title "Confirmed: Android Auto coming this fall!" is correct...![]()
That raises an interesting question. If they released an actual beta, not something simply labeled beta as is all too common these days for buggy software, it might work for some people. With real beta programs, there are NDAs, expectations that users will test certain things as directed, and will report bugs in a tracking system and keep following up on the progress of reported bugs. I don't know how many owners would sign up for an actual beta. I also don't know whether they could get away with actually releasing it and calling it beta. The irony is that Google itself has done that in a big way. Gmail was called beta for years after it was generally available. But if it's sent to users whether they asked for it or not, can be readily used, and merely says "beta" on a screen somewhere, it's likely in violation of some agreement with Google. Calling something beta when it's generally available and released to everybody whose car supports it is far from being beta.I have no idea why they are waiting until the fall? there's a good chance I wouldn't even be free to mention it here or anywhere else
Not sure if this news has been posted here. Worth a read with a grain of salt.

Exclusive: Why Lucid Still Doesn’t Have Android Auto
Lucid is a luxury carmaker that sells its cars at a fairly high price tag. Yet, none of its cars currently have Android Auto. Why?www.topspeed.com
According to Jean-Philippe (JP) Gauthier, vice-president of Lucid's digital experience,
- Google takes a long time to certify Android Auto.
- Lucid submitted the Gravity's platform for certification
- The automaker estimates that Android Auto will arrive around September 2025
Ah Thanks.
