Hello,

This is my first post. I am a proud owner of a 2023 Touring with 20K miles. I live in South Central Indiana. I recently purchased this car at an auction after it was declared "totaled." It had rear end damage that I was able to get repaired and have been driving it for 2k miles since (Georgia and Wisconsin). My need for help and thoughts from fellow owners is that the company will not support my maintenance needs without having an inspection and complete repair done. Estimates from Gold Coast in Chicago are between $15 and $35 thousand. I would like the Service Mode that is shown on the pilot screen turned off and the comfort of having service available when I take trips. I trust EV's but just in case. Any thoughts on how I might deal with this issue?

Sounds to me like you have been told how to deal with that issue...There's a reason that you were able to purchase the car at what I assume was a huge discount...

You’ve stated the answer in your post. Going to have to cough up the money to have Lucid inspect it.

Have to agree with the others, if you want Lucid to support it then you're going to have to do as they ask.

At the same time, it's really crummy that Lucid has these things locked down so an owner or a third party shop cannot properly service them. I don't blame Lucid per se, it's the way of the industry right now.

These cars are computers on wheels unfortunately. Don’t want anyone messing with them who isn’t certified and knows what they’re doing.

I'm not sure that argument holds any more weight than it would with my old MX-5. It's merely a different kind of engineering but the same consequences apply. Either way, yes, someone who is not familiar with a system should not mess with that system. But at the end of the day I own this thing and should be up to me what I do with it within the confines of the law.

I assume part of the lockdown is prevent stealing IP.

Hello, I just bought my Lucid Air Touring 2023 from a US auction after a minor car accident.
I am in Europe and there is no representative office or service in my country.
I drove with Tesla for a long time, but the poor quality made me buy Lucid.
Unfortunately the car arrived with the airbag open and doesn't drive.
Can someone help me find where the HV pyro fuse is located, and how many of them are there in this car?
I hope to drive this wonderful car soon with your help.

Thread 'Air GT service mode after a crash'

Hey there Lucid owners!

I bought a car from auction in US, got shipped to Europe and now have this service mode.

Car itself got a damage to the wheel so the airbag has popped out. I've fixed the wheel thing and replaced air bag. However I don't really know how to fix this service mode?

There is no official lucid service in my country, the closest one is approximately 1k km away.


Would appreciate any information.

good day everyone! help me to connect the mobile application (but this is not important)! I bought 8 lucid cars from the US auction! they are loved in Ukraine, but there is no service, diagnostics are needed! all cars drive but do not charge on a slow charger!

Yeah, I remember reading those threads but I don’t recall anyone reporting success. Especially with getting “service mode” turned off.

There have been successful ones, particularly in Ukraine. It's not impossible, but Lucid isn't going to help.
