Gravity Release Timeline

To realize the 20kU, Lucid has to sell 30-40% more Airs (than in 2024)and successfully introduce and sell 6kU plus of the Gravity in 2025.

It is now end of February...no Gravity yet!
I favor @Adnillien 's numbers. Assuming a linear production ramp beginning in March, 8K Gravities built this year means that in December Lucid would be producing Gravities at a run rate of about 24K units per year - twice the current build rate of Airs.

They already produced, what are you talking about? Only reason Tesla nearly got bankrupted is because they didn’t have funds…Lucid has an oil rich country behind. Remember 420 tweet from Musk? He wanted Saudi money.
Funny enough, I have a framed print of that tweet one of my sales guys bought me as a joke xmas gift.

Be great if Lucid can hit those goals.

Rawlinson was (is) Lucid's "spark-plug" (irony intended) in technical innovations.

I hope the incoming CEO puts more focus on planning, execution, realistic expectation setting, and communication.

January 29th was the date I believe. Just aren't any Gravities out there to use the chargers. Well, apparently 9.
Do we know if they have NACS ports behind the charger doors?

The Gravity has a NACS port standard. Air will need an adaptor

Charging Speeds:

V3
Gravity - Up to 225kW
Air - Up to 50kw

V4 (1000V Cabinet & Charger)
Gravity - Up to 400kW
Air - Up to 350kW

I will jump to the point

I do not believe Lucid is going to be bankrupt any time soon until 2030

First lucid has confirmed order from Saudi government of 100 or 150k thousands cars
So whatever the manufacture could be directed towards that

Lucid police cars started to become more and more popular which means that the government can not bankrupt lucid and leave their cars bricked

Not to mention Saudi is putting lucid in the flashlight in every single event including leap (biggest Tech event in Middle East ) and recently Saudi Cup where they released 1 of 1 lucid

Lastly from my experience, any company gets supported by a government is most likely going to be successful

Many examples to mention like
BYD and its Chinese siblings
ARAMCO
Huawei and so on

Lastly I am shocked for Peter Rawlinson has left but it is not end of the world and I believe this is great news since he was taking extremely high pay package

It does not make sense he got 380 millions pay check and the company is losing 1 billion … well almost half of it is coming from his pay check

Earning call is today. Hopefully, we will find out more.

NASDQ is in free fall this morning. TSLA is heading to $300, perhaps below. All EV stocks are falling because of the current administrations' policies.

Irrespective of its competitors, Lucid needs to be more forthcoming in actual status and numbers. It is counter-productive to have its follower speculate and debate. As I said before, Lucid needs to be run like a business!
RIVN is up 3.16% right now and LCID is up .89%

Musk created his own problems, with that said the 52 week range on TSLA is $138.80 - $488.53 so who knows where it's going long term.........

I have a Gravity "on order" and the sales dept has NO IDEA when my car will be ready. I can't pin her down to any part of the year. She'll just tell me that they are selling them to Air owners first and then to the other people in order of their order date. does anyone have any more info than that? I'm ready to be done with my Tesla Model X ASAP (it is in the shop now for the umpteenth time).

Not yet. You'll need to find some patience until later this year.

Not true. How about the opposition party in Saudi Arabia? They will never buy a car supported by current Saudi Government

P.S. Joke. I couldn’t help it 🤷‍♂️😝

If you can piece together what little new information was given about Gravity on the earnings call this week, don’t expect to see it until Q2 at the absolute earliest. Existing owners are getting priority so not sure how long it will take for them to get through that backlog. Good news is though, only 1/4 of the orders are for existing owners.

Also, if you didn’t put your order in early chances of getting it this year could be slim. If you want something in the next couple of months it’s probably best to cancel your Gravity order and get something else. Although, Air has some great lease deals at the moment so you could do a shorter Air lease if you can put up with a sedan for a couple of years and then switch to Gravity when it’s should be more readily available.

If that turns out to be true, I'm glad my impatience and a member suggestion led me to place my order earlier this week. I'm fine with a delivery around this time next year. Better than placing Touring order late this year and having to wait throughout next year or longer. Life is short. I plan to be around for awhile, but that's ultimately not my call. Just had to be in the order queue

I too heard this claim of $380M salary of Peter and did some research. According to Lucid’s public filings from 2023, his base was $584k and he had a bonus of $6.2 Million. Based on time based and performance based RSU (Performance based when Lucid stock was really high), my friend ChatGPT calculated that he has 25.24 million vested RSUs (his departure came before all the RSUs vested and unsure if full vesting was part of his severance, again showing he probably didn’t leave on his on).

Considering none of this is anywhere close to the $380 million claimed, really curious how that rumor started. Looks like it is not based on facts. I guess it might have been tied to his original performance based award when the stock was really high. But Peter publicly claimed he hasn’t sold a single share other than for tax purposes.

I understand it is not a quick ramp-up, so it might be longer than you expect. We don't know the exact dates but we got an idea on the sequence of deliveries:

1) Insiders (done)
2) Showrooms (not done, expect coming weeks)
3) public (expect productions will not keep up with demands for this year 2025.

So, once you see the production cars (not prototypes) appear in showrooms, that means step #2. And, of course, after that, you'll undoubtedly hear from the first public deliveries.

It's hard to time the deliveries until those steps are met and the productions will catch up with demands.

I received the Lucid DE email and immediately booked the vehicle. On Saturday last week, I recieved an email from the sales person encouraging me to book the DE edition. I told him that I booked the vehicle and asked if he had any insight on delivery timelines. His response was "we don't have an exact timeline just aiming for Spring 2025". Now that spring has kicked in, i am hoping to do a test drive soon 🤞

What year is your X? Are you trading it on or selling it?

They will undoubtedly try to deliver Gravity before they run out of cash Q3 2026
Do you know something I don’t? lol. Their cash and cash equivalents far exceed their current burn rate, at least from what I can see.
