I did as well when I charge at EA Friday. It’s a pending authorization. I treated it like the $150 pre-authorization a gas pump does.

check and see if this is just a pending charge. this happens to me a lot across merchants. usually, they are checking to see if the card is valid. in gas stations when we fill up my wife's car, i commonly see charges up to 150, which go away after a day or two
