Mine worked fine for about 7-8 months. When this happened I called the electrician who installed it. He also installs for Tesla in Toronto, Canada. Told me it was a common problem was there next day changed to a different outlet and it has worked fine for the last 3 months.
I have had same problem in Canada. 3 tires in about a month. Lucid should do something about this problem. It seems to me the pirelli tire are not good enough for the weight of the car. Lucid needs to find another manufacturer whom can make a better tire.
Has anyone else had bulges on the side wall of their pirelli 21” low profile tires. I’m on my second one in a month. Lucid repair shop tells me it is due to driving over potholes. I think there is a problem with the inner belts.
Thank you
Vince
I had same problem. It is the 240 plug. It was getting overheated and therefore overheating the charging unit. Replaced plug with different one and problem was resolved
I had the same problem. Apparently had nothing to with charger or the car. It was the 240 volt outlet overheating. Changed to a different make. Problem solved
Car is back. Seems to be ok. They said was a conflict with softwear update. Ok. Said they did another upgrade and everything worked fine. I hope so. Thank you
Power comes on and as soon as you hit the brakes you get drive system fault. Along with other warnings. Battery image. Lane change fault and the dash flashing red. Minute later everything dies. 5 minutes later power comes on. Hit the brakes and same thing all over again. Plus won’t shift into gear
I live in Canada. Yes weather is on the cold side. I get 25%of the range in city and about 45% on freeways at 90m/hr.
Feel this is very low.
Plus should put a much stronger heater in the car. Not suitable for cold climates
