I was invited to finalize the order and I did so with the stealth option. so yeah that's why I figured I won't get the deposit back. Was told that mine will be sequenced for production sometime in Q1 2023... wonder any one got deposit back after finialzing the order but canceling before the VIN?

speaking of the tax credit, I also signed the binding contract on 8/11 in hopes of locking the tax credit. Has it be confirmed that you have to take a delivery in 2022 in order to take the credit and if you do in 2023, it's out? If this is true or very likely then I have to change the order...
