Pascal. I just missed the punch card compiling mess at my school.
Somewhat similar experience for me today. I have almost 3,000 miles on my GDE but this was a first. I was parked on a slight downhill slope this morning. When I put the car in reverse and took my foot off the brake it began...
Yep I've also experience the stubborn door handle that refuses to lock after several attempts. I jiggle the fob (don't repeat that line out of context) and then retry pushing on the handle to lock and it complies.
Ha! I love the DZA hack it's much easier to write. I do keep my key card in my wallet for just in case but haven't had to use it since I started using the hack. I did say 100%. 3.2.2 fixed most of the media challenges but I still lose my contacts synching at times still pretty randomly as...
I'm closing in on 3,000 miles with my Gravity DE. After a frustrating first week of dealing with the various access issues often talked about here I got this great advice from DrZorro that continues to be a 100% solution for access and driving the vehicle so I can really enjoy all it has to...
I have the key-fob issue too but also knew that 3.2.2 wasn't written to address that issue specifically. On the bright side Creature Comfort now works when launched from inside the vehicle as well as the app.
As a Gravity DE owner I agree with you. However my first impression of the vehicle was "minivan". The roofline is too low but there's something about the ratio of length to height and the shape that say's "minivan". Sorry but it was my wife's first impression as well having never seen the...
It is interesting to read that many of us have the same issues but then some of us have a particular issue that maybe not everyone experiences. My HUD unit has not be a problem. I can see the data and the outline of the screen in the reflection by nothing warped or distorted as some have...
Good point....fixes that require redesign are hard for existing owners. I have R1T Launch Edition and it took a while before they got around replacing my powered tonneau cover with the redesigned one.
Does anyone know if the 3.2.2 update fixed the Pet Mode issue where you have to enable it from the app instead of inside the car? Took my pooches with me to the market and used the app because I wasn't sure.
I have read that 3.2.2 was not specifically released to fix the access issues. However, my experience is that the process forum member Zorro outlined for using the fob-in-pocket protocol has been a 100% solution. The car sometimes take a few seconds after you sit down and put your foot on the...
Tech Support texted me to re-attempt the 3.2.2 update from inside the car instead of using the mobile app. I had to remind them to re-push it out to me and once they did it updated quickly when launched from inside the car. It appears to have suppressed many of the random warnings I was seeing...
The jury is still out for me. I still have my R1T and I cannot say at this time that the Gravity exceeds my expectations. Which it should, significantly, given the cost differences.
Probably a solid plan. I have stopped itemizing the issues I'm having with my Gravity DE. I will say though that the car drives nice when it allows me to drive it. My Tesla and Rivian had zero problems relative to what I'm experiencing. Don't let anyone tell you it's just teething and that...
While I haven't had that exact experience I have had the blind spot cameras stop working mid-drive which is a bit of a pain because I've come to rely on them given my seat positioning and the pillar location. Cameras being used in lieu of mirrors really need to operate 100% of the time.
I commute on Los Angeles freeways using the HOV lanes in the early hours on my way into the office. My Gravity DE is rock solid going 85-95 mph in the narrow HOV lane while feeling like I'm driving 55 mph. There's a section of freeway (often used for making movies) where the traffic disappears...
