    When to replace tires

My car is currently in for service to replace a coolant valve. The service center is 3 hours away and they don't want to do the alignment without replacing the tires first (makes sense), but I would like to wait on the tires (they aren't that bad, yet), and get them replaced in October.

    When to replace tires

I was just advised by Lucid Service that my tires should be replaced (24,000 miles) and both the front and back need alignment. Does anyone know if alignment on the Lucid can be done by tire dealers. I'm going to squeeze a few more miles out of the tires and replace them in October prior to my...

My 1,300 mile trip (for the 5th time)

ABRP does let you set how often to stop. I had mine set to "Quickest Arrival", but I added addition stops that were not in the plan. The key thing I found (and the data confirmed it), is that keeping my charging limit below 60% saves time on the trip. More frequent stops for shorter charging...

My 1,300 mile trip (for the 5th time)

I just posted a YouTube video on my semi-annual trip between Southern California and Washington State. Before leaving I installed the 2.6.16 update and found the Dream Drive Pro is much improved and working on many of the back roads that were unavailable on past trips. I did find that the...

    ABRP

If you were over 70 years old, you might want what they offer. 😁 Here is a link to my channel https://youtube.com/@lifeafter70-years?si=Kg-me5USHTSB4qWL I'm working on the video and hope to have it up in the next few days. I have lots of video and data and the challenge is not posting 3 hours...

    ABRP

I just finished a 1,300 mile trip from California to Washington using ABRP Premium with Enode enabled. I have to say that I'm very impressed with the accuracy of the SOC on arrival. I'm now a believer. I will be posting a video of my trip on my YouTube channel @LifeAfter70-years including all...

I recently compared ABRP to my Lucid Navigation in a couple of YouTube videos on my channel. Here's a link:

Drive assist & cruise refuse to engage periodically 2.6.0 / 2.6.11

Yes, but the issue is that you are unable to reset the cruise control without stopping the car, walking away so that it goes to sleep. Nothing else worked including a logo reset.

Drive assist & cruise refuse to engage periodically 2.6.0 / 2.6.11

I had the same problem and reported it to Lucid. I was able to replicate the problem and found that pulling over and walking away from the car (letting it go to sleep), fixed the problem. The issue came about when I overrode the Drive Assist passing a car at high speed. If I passed after...

    CARPLAY

I lost connectivity to CarPlay after the last update and ignored it until today. After reading the posts, I did one simple thing recommended by Bobby, I disabled WiFi in the car settings and presto, I have CarPlay.

    "range at destination" working well

Thanks @Lucken. I put a lot of work into the app and it has been a fun project. I would appreciate you sharing your kind words in a review on the Apple Store. There is a small blue info button in the upper left of the main screen that will take you to the review screen. Thanks again!

    "range at destination" working well

This is true, but only if you use the Lucid Navigation. I'm a fan of CarPlay with Apple Maps and using my app www.evrangecalculator.com.

Horsepower Distribution of a 2023 Pure AWD...

I had a conversation with an EV9 owner a few weeks ago and he told me the his AWD disconnects the front motor when his cruise control is engaged. This feature improves his efficiency. Interesting.

    EV Range Calculator

I pushed my Lucid Pure AWD to the limit last night on a windy rainy day over two mountain passes. My Lucid trip computer estimated that I would have 5% battery remaining, but using my app EVrc, I cross-checked it with 16% remaining (43 miles to destination) and determined that I would be at 0%...
