    Charger FAQ/Explanation

Thanks as always for all of the helpful information here. I believe the answer to my question is yes, but, given the potential damage if I’m wrong, I wanted to confirm that it’s okay to plug my Lucid into a standard 50 amp outlet at an RV park. I believe they’re standard NEMA 14-50 outlets.

RESOLVED Right Lower Touchscreen Not Working. Can’t Access Major Functions

I gave up waiting on my Pure to be delivered and just purchased a Grand Touring with less than 3,000 miles on Friday, ie three days ago. My initial impression was very good, and I even told my wife that the car was far less buggy than I expected. Sadly, I spoke far too soon. While driving the...

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Pure

Yes, I have legacy pricing. Others are obviously being told they can get $7,500 off the legacy pricing on a Touring. That’s not what my Sales Advisor told me, but maybe he’s misinformed. I hope others are correct.

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Pure

My sales advisor told me that the $7,500 discount applies only to the newer, higher pricing on the Touring and Grand Touring, i.e. you can’t get $7,500 off of the original Touring pricing.

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Pure

In mid-January my sales advisor said Pure production would begin in six weeks, i.e. at the end of February. If that’s true (a big ”if”) my best guess is that they would produce the full spec blue cars until they satisfy demand and then switch to other colors in all wheel drive spec next and then...

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Pure

I asked my sales advisor yesterday for a production update on the Pures, and he indicated that Lucid is planning on producing the next batch of Pures in six weeks. I of course am not sure how accurate that is, but that’s what I was told.

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

As noted in my post above, newly issued IRS guidance specifies that a clean vehicle is placed into service in the year it was delivered, not the year it was ordered. More specifically, IRS FAQs, which were updated two days ago, state the following: If I order a new clean vehicle in one year...

New Treasury guidelines for Tax Credit coming soon

One additional bit of IRS guidance that is relevant to my opinion that the tax credits will no longer be available to Lucid owners: Purchase date vs. delivery date: If you entered a written binding contract to buy a vehicle before August 16, 2022, but took possession on or after August 16...

7500 EV tax credit update with new bill

I posted this in a different thread, but I think it belongs here as well… I am not a tax expert, but I read through the new IRS guidelines, and it’s clear to me that Lucid vehicles delivered after Dec 31, 2022 will not qualify for the tax credit. My opinion is based on the following language...

New Treasury guidelines for Tax Credit coming soon

I am not a tax expert, but I read through the new IRS guidelines, and noobzilla is correct that the March deadline change is specific to rules regarding battery content, while the MSRP restriction continues to apply to vehicles delivered on or after January 1, 2023. In other words, it’s clear...
