You can actually buy the Rain-X kit for about 10 bucks at any Walmart. It’s in the aisle with the windshield wiper blades. I’ve used it many times and have had better results than the professional services.

If memory serves it was 0.49 per kW. Pretty simple process using the Tesla app. You initiate using the app to unlock a particular charger then plug in. You have a have a payment method set up in your Tesla account.

Kinda… at the Hancock, NY station, I heard a loud bang (almost like a gunshot) coming from the cabinets a few seconds after I began charging. The car charged fine and I had no issues but I reported the event.

Seems to be a bug when driving into the sun. I turned it off because it was so annoying

…and today, this very same station worked fine for me. While I was there I watched an EV6 owner struggle for about 10 minutes trying to get his car to charge. “EA” must also stand for “Extreme Aggravation”

Thanks for the replies. Lucid finally fixed my car. It required a manual calibration (using special tools) of all cameras plus the LiDAR. It works perfectly now.

I had EA issues at the Hartsdale, NY (near White Plains) station on Thursday evening. Couldn’t get it to work at all despite lengthy phone calls with both EA and Lucid. I’ve used this location in the past without issues and other cars (Hyundai/Kia and VW) were using the station successfully...
