I think it might be to do with revenue recognition - for the transaction to count in the quarter the car probably has to be physically delivered. There’ll also probably be someone in the accounting team checking up on the delivery advisors…

I think you’re right - I wasn’t counting the cameras around the rear view mirror.

BMW uses 4 cameras to achieve their version of 360. For parking within parking bay lines it works fine.

I think David Lickfold sounds like a really intelligent and gifted chassis and suspension engineer. I wonder how much he has to do with the phenomena owners describe of forgiving the car when they drive it again after a software frustration? Great interview.
