I am planning a road trip end of February that will take me off the interstates and present some charging challenges. I have the Nema 14-50, and 120v that came with the car. I also have an adapter for a 240V dryer outlet. I plan to get an adapter for Tesla to J1772. Any recommendations for other adapters? Also, I have the Lucid app, Electrify America, Chargepoint, and Plug share. Any other recommendations? Racing at https://barberracingevents.com March 4,5,and 6. Perhaps will be able to do some "touring laps" in the Lucid on the 4th. I'll have an electrical engineer with me. If anything goes wrong I can ask him "do you have cell service?" :)

Interested to hear what you plot out. While not anytime soon since I am 2-4 months out with mine, I live in PHX and have family in SC, so would be good to know. Happy trails.

I'd also sign up for EVGo as well

I am going to follow your trip closely so please post a way to follow. We are planning to drive from Millbrae to Indianapolis visitng Yosemite, Death Valley, Grand Canyon and Arches National Parks later in June.

will do. Your trip will be quite the journey. I’ll be interested to follow as well. I will not be going as far north as Arches, but will go through Monument Valley, which is a great way to go from South rim Grand Canyon to Arches. North rim you are close to Highway 12 in Utah which is a great drive.

Just out of curiosity does Lucid show all these different superchargers or just electrify America which they partnered on with the free 3 year charging? Coming from Tesla with their own proprietary chargers not sure how lucid allows for trip routing. Do you have to use an app with your phone or can you run all of these different apps through the car? Thanks in advance for whoever can clear up this question.

They show everything when you are looking for a charging station, but if you plug in a route, it'll map it based off EA stations

This is odd, I'm using ABRP and may have to manually put in a few Chargepoint chargers. My visit to Studio yesterday they said multiple waypoints is coming in an update.

Sorry, if you bring the map up, and hit the charging button, it'll show you stuff "close" to you, but it shows every EV charging station available that is close

Slightly off topic, but I did the 2 day Porsche sport race school there. The track is sooo much fun.

I use the TESLA 40 amp charger with this Tesla to J1772 adapter to charge the Lucid so I do not have to keep switching chargers. It works great and it is small enough to not stress the connection to the car like some of the old large adapters. I tested it with the Tesla destination chargers that are the predominant chargers at most hotel chains and it worked with zero problems. However it doesn't work with the Tesla superchargers.

I'm planning to pick one of these up.

I've done the Porsche school also. Highly recommended. This will be my second time racing at this track. Last year I was in a 128i in the GP1 class. This year I'll be in the M2 CS racing in GTO. Having been around the track in the 911 certainly helped.
