We get a heads up from the USPS regarding what mail is being delivered today. Today's heads up email had a photo of a letter that Lucid is sending me. I can see "FINAL NOTICE" clearly through the envelope. Our mail delivery has been a little spuratic lately with no mail delivered yesterday. Gulp, I sure hope it gets delivered this evening. I am on pins and needles.

It's more than likely not important as it was shipped Standard mail which normally is junk mail.

Hope you're right. I have never received one of those like this, but there is always a first time.
Your lucky as I get junk mail all the time saying final notice on extended vehicle warranty offer that I got rid of 6 years ago. Also, look where it shipped from - St Louis MO!

So did they cancel your Lucid and give it to me?
My understanding is the car was reassigned to some fellow called Barry Schwartz. However, Lucid tried to deliver it to him yesterday but, because he was not home to receive it, it has now been reassigned to a Studio for test drives. 😆LOL. Our US Mail service is currently so screwed up right now, with a new mailman replacing the wonderful mailwoman we had who recently retired, Can you believe it, our mail still have not come! Grrrr. Fortunately, most of the little mail we receive is junk, so we usually don't mind it being a little late. However, this is getting rediculous. If the letter really was a Final Notice from Lucid, the car would be loooooong gone. Sigh.

Rbbarry is a real trouble maker. Best to stay away from him……😇

Well, the mystery Lucid Air "Final Notice" letter finally arrived! It only took 4 days to travel the few miles from our US Post Office in Blaine, WA to my house. This revamped USPS is really on the right track to improve service. Oh wait, that is not its state goal. Darn! Anyway, as Ksa23 shared in this thread, the letter is an extended service warrant scam. Thus, I continue what seems to be the never ending wait to get the email or call from Lucid saying that I now have a VIN. What is most frustrating, there hasn't been any new VIN assignments to the Zenith Red tracker in 5 weeks while I watch Bear's Workshop drone videos showing AMP-1 pumping the cars out. Sigh......

I am waiting on a Zenith Red VIN also and hope to be in the next batch. At this point who knows. Have had two members let me see their ZR’s up close and answer my multiple questions. One took me for a extended drive yesterday and explained some things I did not know. Waiting, waiting, waiting…….😇

I keep getting phone calls from ‘Suzie’ who says my car warranty is about to expire. Of course our cars have been out of warranty for years.

Lucky you seen 2. I have seen zero other than mine. It seems they are pushing out VIN faster, I hope you get yours very soon.

I need to eventually talk to you about the process to get the ”Personalized” Texas plates. I see the site one orders on the Internet but do not know how I deal with Ft. Bend County.

I understand ordering from

My confusion is not where to get the specialty plates but what is the sequence of getting them and taking them to the DMV office. On some sites you can order and have them ahead of time before your car is even registered. We have one member here that ordered his specialty plates and had them on his car, I believe illegally, for two months before Lucid sent the paperwork to actually register the car here in Texas. Do you order the specialty plates and just take them to the DMV office when you register the Lucid and they then accept them without giving you the regular Texas plates?
