Sitting at a gas station like a fool

In NorCal (CA), Costco gas is .50/gal cheaper. An actual difference when filling a tank. Lines are long but moves fast. What are people doing at your Costco gas lines? Having a picnic?

I am inside the two year window where I can't use a class to make a speeding ticket go away. In Arizona, the radar cops won't ticket you unless you are going at least ten miles over the limit. Hence my 77.

I was just looking at the Polestar website (I was bored and cooling off after the golf course). They limit top speed to 101 mph. INMO that could be dangerous as I could see trying to pass someone on a steep hill (like the passing lanes on the Carefree highway between I17 and Quintero) and suddenly running out of acceleration.

Top speed is 127mph for the dual-motor version. Sounds like a lot more fun than the somewhat slow single-motor car.

A 101 mi/h hard limit really highlights for me how it feels like the lucid can reach a speed like that almost imperceptibly

Not in Arizona. A couple of days ago I planted myself in the car pool lane (I am allowed to as I drive a qualified PHEV) and set my cruise control for 77 (translates to 74 or 9 miles over the speed limit), More cars passed me than I passed, some flew by me.
Steve, half the reason I bought the Air was so I could go in the HOV lane. I would be very upset to see your Lucid (future) blocking it at 77 so my Lucid could not pass you at a "slightly" higher rate of speed. I mean in any other car, I'd understand and respect it, but there's a certain appearance that Lucid owners are expected to keep. Don't be that guy. :)

Looking forward to meeting this weekend though fortunately for both of us you'll be coming down Scottsdale I presume and not the 101 ;).

Not a problem. I will move over so you can pass me, then get back in the HOV lane and follow you. When you get flashed for the speeding ticket, I will slow down and avoid it.

Every now and then they pull the follower :). Good meeting you today. Hope to see you again soon!
