My gawd that is beautiful! Can you give details as I am looking to do almost that exact same thing!

Was there a reason you decided not to black out the other trim pieces?

What you can see is:
- Vinyl wrap on the roof
- Signature Wheels: 3 piece forged
- tinted door windows and rear window

What you can't see:
- ppf front clip
- ceramic on the entire car and wheels

I kinda of liked the other trim pieces. The roof (to me) always felt forced. I debated wrapping the mirrors; but I am glad I didn't; as I think it would have felt unbalanced. A complete black out felt like it lacked 'drama'.

To each, their own.

Was just curious and I agree a complete blackout is ugly and boring. There is no character or beauty in a car that is all black everywhere.

I agree with you....I plan on blacking out the roof and a thin strip on the front around the name (like in this pic). But leaving the trim along the bottom and the mirrors because I think it will accent the 21" rims really nicely.

What kind of rims did you get?

The front looks good!

The wheels are Signature Wheels. They do a ton of high end wheels and a lot of Teslas.

Great looking wheels. A proper 3-piece looks very mechanical and capable.

Those are nice rims. Now you can see your calipers! Time to paint those in your next round of mods! Lol

Yeah, one other opportunity is if you zoom in to the wheels you can see a brown/rust color ring that was covered by the oem wheel design, but with the open 3 piece set up you can now see it. (I try not to look there for now). If anyone else is considering custom wheels that are open you might want to consider that prior to making a switch. Always kinda sucks to find a surprise after the fact.

Someone mentioned on this forum that rust on EV brake discs was very common because of one pedal driving and not using the brakes.

Good catch. Do you think that would be easy to polish off during wheel replacement? I’m having aftermarket wheels done as well so will ask my guy to clean that part up if he can.

Looks great. Zooming in it looks like you stayed with the OEM tires?

Yes, I stayed with the Pirellis for now. I didn't want to swap them and just throw them away. Next set will be Michelins

I don't think it will be difficult to clean. I think a light polishing with a clear coat is all you will need. Brake pads never reach that area so it should sustain. I will have them do it when I swap out for winter wheels/tires.

Also, the tpm sensors transferred without the need for calibration which was a pleasant surprise.
