Oh Waymo is all over the South Bay already. Very soon, even all the way up to Sacramento. They are both in limited areas IIRC. In the bay area I haven't seen Waymo/Zoox outside of San Francisco (although I think they may be making their way down to the south bay and silly valley, I haven't seen either Zoox or Waymo anywhere in the San Francisco East Bay. So they've got a ways to go before Waymo/Zoox can claim to be able to fully replace someone's car.
So are we killing this thread yet admin? I'd really like the actual conversation to get back to the original point of the thread but some obstinate folks can't seem to give up this ridiculous back and forth about FSD...yall really suck....Okay. This thread has gone way off topic.
Any further comments about Java, her takes on Gravity, the merits of giving journalists loaner cars, etc. are fine.
If we can’t get back on thread, or if folks are generally talked out on the actual topic, we’re just going to close this one out.
Plus these little towns down south:Oh Waymo is all over the South Bay already. Very soon, even all the way up to Sacramento.
Her viewership is exactly the market Lucid needs to appeal to. Not the EV enthusiasts. The families who need a versatile, spacious, and reliable EV SUV. It’s a big deal for her to make this switch. I hope we get video updates on how it’s going and hopefully they’re positive! So this Kim Java has 345,000 youtube subscribers and her husband, PJ, has 174 subscribers. I wonder why?

I suspect I did get your point but I just chose to ignore it. She posts a lot of content. Her husband not so much. I’m not sure why anyone would subscribe to him.I feel you didn't quite get the point of my post.
It's funny - Air owners felt they were being left out of software improvements, now Gravity owners are feeling overlooked - I agreeThe general vibe in their 3-month review is positive about the vehicle, but also feeling that the software lags behind, and the pace of improvement doesn't cause confidence that Lucid is on top of the vehicle software. Which I think is an extremely fair take on the where Lucid is. They've certainly improved the software situation substantially in the ~16 months the car has been out. But the pace of improvement doesn't make you feel like there's a software team that has buckled down and focused on making constant improvements. Instead it feels like there's a software team that's working on other things, and they manage to fit in time for a Gravity release from time to time. Some of the features they're working on are things that may be big projects, and a slower pace isn't surprising. But there's a lot of little improvements that shouldn't be such a big deal to get out, and I'd hope for a steadier cadence of OTAs that deliver at least a steady stream of smaller improvements.
Lucid doesn’t have the software team numbers that Tesla has, so updates won’t be as frequent. But agree, we need PAAK now, if they won’t most sakes. Wonder why Q1….delay due to Apple/Google?The general vibe in their 3-month review is positive about the vehicle, but also feeling that the software lags behind, and the pace of improvement doesn't cause confidence that Lucid is on top of the vehicle software. Or the constant feedback loop of hundreds of thousands of vehicles (data points) returning use and performance information to the software developers on a fraction of a second basis.
