2026 Lucid Air Touring
I've been chomping at the bit waiting for 2.11 to come to my car. Thursday in finally did and I regret it. Across the board to me this is a downgrade. The only improvement is the larger Android Auto/Apple Play screen. The main screen is basically the same and a little less useable(glove box? and previous parking button location was better). Zero improvement in the user experience there. The HVAC button highlighting... I can't tell what is on or not. The buttons change from grey to black, both of those could just easily be off as on. They still didn't fix the rear HVAC staying persistent for the rear. The volume, fan and temp display that pops up on the upper screen looks like it's from 1985 now. I guess the steering wheel volume does work a little better. About 25% of he time I get in the car it says it sees my wifes key fob, even when she's 25 miles away, and moves the seat forward. She's 6" shorter than me. Sometimes it starts right after I'm in the car so that's exciting. Lucid was promising a huge UI upgrade for months and this it? I could do better in a few hours with Claude helping me along than this.

some of these sound like items discussed and options to address them. Particularly keys and fobs.

And you can move / rearrange the items shown on the pilot panel. There’s a nice video going over a number of changes.

Both of these together takes care of most of your questions. Others like the switch on/off yeah I can see your point.

If you were to rewrite this as constructive feedback, if possible, I’m sure they’d love to hear it.

I think it’s a significantly superior experience, personally.

I waited to until Friday to do the update. I made a spreadsheet of the complaints and possible fixes. Personally I like it, but I liked 2.10 as well. So far no real issues. Even my pilot panel does not close when going above 17 mph, but I keep it down anyway. Unlike most, my easy entry seats now go farther back to let me in, I found that I really did not need this feature and turned it off. I did not have to do a repairing of my phone and car.

Change is always difficult to process. I find it helpful to try and forget as much of the previous design as possible and consider "if I'd been using this for the past year, how would I feel about it?" Do you dislike [x] because it's an objectively poor concept/design, or merely because it's unfamiliar to you?

There are a few concrete backwards steps in 2.11 for sure, but on the balance I still think it's a major improvement.
