Now you can not use an iphone on bluetooth, unless you use bluetooth. Aparently Lucid has worked on this update for a year.

at the …[[{]_~ are you talking about? Yes to use Bluetooth you need to use Bluetooth.
That’s it I’m done with you.

Maybe you can try disabling CarPlay from the phone side after pairing it and see if that helps?

On your iPhone, go to Settings, Bluetooth, then click the (i) next to your car in the device list, then turn the CarPlay toggle off. Then I believe it will just behave as a generic bluetooth mobile/media device.

As you see in the video, if carplay is not connected, the mobile/media device setting is not working. I have tried it every way possible.

Interesting! I kinda liked the native software control on 2.0 and haven’t tried 3.0. I wanna say some other cars are like that. Hyundai maybe? I know on BMW you can try either. Did you delete the car from the CarPlay app on the phone?

I don't use carplay cause I have android auto but to me it's better now. I don't use android auto much and before this update, the car would try to connect to android auto every time I get in. Now it only connects to android auto when I want it to. I use Bluetooth most of the time and with this update I don't have to disconnect android auto

Hey Man, I tried seveal times to by deleting the car from the phone and phone from the car. Can you pls check it in your car?

Disable CarPlay in your phone's settings under "Settings > General > CarPlay" and delete the device from CarPlay in that screen.

I miss-typed. I meant you can not use bluetooth, unless you use carplay.
That's not true, I have been doing this regularly. If you disconnect CarPlay, then the phone will stream audio over BlueTooth. You can't do both at the same time because of limitations from Apple.
You don't have to turn off CarPlay in the phone. Just go do the Devices screen in Lucid settings, and click the BlueTooth icon next to your device. It will disconnect from CarPlay and connect via BlueTooth.

This is correct.

Yes. That is how it had always worked until
The update.

so the bug you showed is most likely a bug of the app and not necessarily Lucid's. i believe the output changed when you connected bluetooth and the app didn't recognize that. maybe do the same steps for bluetooth and instead of immediately playing from the audible app, kill the app and open it again. i have a feeling that it would connect to the car's speakers correctly.

Just now tried that. Still does not work. I’ve deleted the car from phone and phone from the car multiple times as well. Many times the paired phone will not connect to the car automatically and I would need to go in devices and click on CarPlay for it to connect.

Yep, same with me. Never happened before but now after upgrade I have to enable CarPlay in devices for it to connect about 50% of the time. I don't believe it is an app issue or a phone issue it is an implementation bug on the Lucid side. Not a big deal, just an annoyance which I expect will get corrected with an interim patch soon. I do like a lot of the enhancements made in recent update, just wish they would stop breaking stuff that works. (seems like a testing miss on the Lucid side)
