Why do I havwe to go through 3 or 4 screens to get back to my favoorites in music every time i start the dar. Why not default back to where it was when last used?

1. Camp mode with auto level
2. Phone as a Key (Android/iOS), I hope it won't be that buggy as lucid keyfob
3. Better Android Auto integration (Live Battery Percentage and Real-time Consumption Telemetry)
4. Make it possible to disable/change open/close and lock/unlock sounds

I'm guessing this will never happen as it would require giving Google/Apple access to the on board diagnostics directly at which point Google/Apple would get any information they wanted about the car and bypass Lucid/GM/Tesla/....

Yeah, I doubt Lucid would want to share this data either. And it's not because Google could extract anything proprietary from the car - and Google certainly wouldn't get direct access to on-board diagnostics. On the vehicle side, Lucid implements the protocol themselves using Google's open-source library, essentially just implementing a few extra well defined EV-specific interfaces to expose a specific set of metrics that a connected phone can query from the car.

I see people say this all the time but it isn't true.

So many great ideas in this thread. Given the just announced delay and issues w getting the #1 requested feature (PaaK) out, I am losing confidence that most of these features will be implemented any time soon. I hope I'm wrong but other thang bug-quashing, Invisi-mode and Hands-Free...they haven't delivered many/any new features in the past 6 months. Am I wrong/forgetting?

I think you're right, but those three aren't bad for six months.

I'd really like to see more availability of native audio streaming apps (Amazon Music, Audible, YouTube Music, Apple music). Although I give them credit for having Pockercast, I don't remember seeing it in other brands' infotainments

Pocketcasts is available in Volvo AAOS cars, along with Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Apple music including Atmos, Pandora, Youtube, Prime video, Chrome.
I suspect in many other AAOS cars too (GM, Cayenne EV, etc) but don't know firsthand.

Is there an official portal for feature requests to Lucid?

I have had a Gravity Touring for a couple of weeks and there are a few things that I would like to request to Lucid:

1. I play music from a USB drive connected to the USBC port. The music listing should not be such big icons and there needs to be options to sort by name or genre etc. Also option for adding to favorites should be available.
2. App - merely opening the app should not wake up the vehicle. Any command sent to the vehicle obviously should wake up, but not otherwise.
3. Phone as a key - currently one has to open app on phone and press an icon to start a 2 minute timer that allows unlock of door and drive.
4. Bug in climate precon - disabling the climate precon does not disable it, even deleting it does not disable the precon
5. As an improvement for next near Gravity or a future redesign, they should have auto close charging port door. As soon as the NACS connector is removed, close the door. (TBH, I am spoilt by the Tesla experience)
6. Lucid provides a 40A NEMA 14-50 L2 charger and two adapters. I think they should not be providing the charger as most people already likely have a L2 charger at home. At this price point most people buying a Gravity are on their 2nd or 3rd EV and likely have an existing charger in their garage.
7. A "sloth" mode to really limit acceleration. Even a hard push of the accelerator will keep the power output low enough to accelerate like a gas car. Also it will not not jerk passengers. A 0 to 60 in 8-10 secs on going full throttle in sloth mode.

I have to completely disagree with you on this. Perhaps if you already own a EV you wouldn't need the 50A L2 charger. However for those who this is their first EV the Charger cable is quite nice. Don't have to wonder about adapters and such. Just find a 50A plug and one is all set (or 120V). Couldn't be easier

I’m on my 3rd EV and I don’t have a charger. I keep using the ones that come with my car. And then I return them at the end of my lease with the car.

I use my charge cable all the time while traveling, visiting friends, renting out VRBOs, etc. Even with a dedicated wall charger at home and DC Fast chargers all around, I’d still never want to be without a charge cable for emergencies. You never know when you’ll need a quick charge somewhere.

Regarding sloth mode, I do it with just a light pressure on the accelerator.

I'm curious why you and @vishnumrao would prefer this. I like the car to wake as soon as I open the app, so that it is ready to instantly accept an unlock / frunk open command, etc.

Yes, makes sense when sending commands to the car. I was thinking more about cases when I open the app because I want to look up some info, ie find the VIN, wallet, etc

Two scenarios:

1. Sometimes the app is opened in error, either due to finger memory or my young kids may open random apps. Lucid is one of the few apps on the homescreen of my phone.
2. Sometimes I will open the app just to check if the vehicle is locked or on the charger (sometimes I forget to put it on the charger as soon as I get home, but may check before bed time).

So I like the option to not wake up the vehicle from sleep unless a command is sent.

Yes, I do a light acceleration too, not not everyone is capable of that. Most people I know, especially ones coming from gas cars, tend to just go press hard on that pedal. Also sloth mode likely helps efficiency minded folks as well.

My rationale is that perhaps Lucid can cut cost to either reduce vehicle cost by a few hundred or make slightly more profit by not giving away a L2 charger & adapters. I am pretty sure most vehicle manufacturers don't provide a L2 charger with the vehicle. I guess if the vehicle did not come with one, the end user could choose to buy what he / she wanted. E.g higher power ones like the 80A charger, or choose between NEMA 14-50 vs hard wired etc.

Yeah. I am on my 4th EV and I already had two chargers and now a 3rd one from Lucid. I maybe an outlier in this scenario then .

My mobile charging devices go with the car when I sell them.
