3.0 on Air

It was clearly stated at last Sunday's meeting that we won't be getting sentry mode on the Air, even with 3.0.

I must have overslept and missed the meeting. Can you clarify which meeting and the source of this distressing news?

I’m in, as long as I can simultaneously be on a Zoom call on the top screen, watch porn on the big screen, play Doom on the dash using the steering wheel controls, and have my kids watching Bluey on the small screen in the back—crying because I’m on a Zoom call—all while in motion.

Just make sure the kid's screen has the correct video!

There was a "Lucid and Lattes" meeting last Sunday in Pleasanton organized by Debbie Doll and Suzanne. Emad, Nick Twork, and other members of the Lucid Management Team were present. I'm estimating around 30-40 or more Lucid owners were present with their cars. San Jose Service Team was also present. Emad was asked if we would be getting sentry mode on the current Air vehicles and his response was no.

There is no requirement for updating your older Air to the current CPU. You may choose to do it if you want access to added software functionality, just as you might choose to do with an iPhone or iMac.

My neighbor was on UX team. You 100% will need updated computer to be able to download 3.0 UX
They are sunetting older computer system. There may be additional updates to 2.9.x but will never move to 3.0 according to him.

That was the driving force to have me upgrade. 1000.00 is very worth it to me.

I meant that if someone is happy with version 2.9.X, no need to update to CCCv2.

Totally agree!!!! There should still be updates on DDP and safety stuff. For sure.

Nick Twork on Twitter all but confirmed that Air won’t be getting many updates until 3.0 hits. And I believe I heard Emad Dlala say that we should expect 3.0 in late summer early fall. Just wanted to put all of this in one place as it is all updated info today.

Honestly if they would just tighten up the bug causing the audio to pause randomly I could wait happily. That one bug kills me!

I would expect the UX 3.0 update to be 3.0.0.

Its a red loaner, so i think so, but can't guarantee it until I see it downloaded in another Air.
