The power outlets will continue to run in creature comfort mode until you move the car out of park if you enable the 'Keep On' under outlets in the charge screen.

Using a 60's vintage single phase variable autotransformer meant for testing tube type color TV's I am able to run any of my power tools including old 2 HP motors using any of the car outlets. A little bulky for camping (and not necessary usually) it will work great for emergencies at home. Without it my old refrigerator won't start and even a wimpy little coffee grinder can trip the car.

They've said many times now it's coming in the third quarter of 2026. Likely some time after Apple launches iOS 27 with the new iPhones in a few weeks because that's needed (at least for Apple users) to enable Apple CarKey.
 
I am a simple man. I really want PAAK, which sounds like it’s coming post iOS 27 launch, I REALLY would like the steering wheel shortcut button to have the option to get mapped to the surround view camera, and a nice to have would be streaming apps. I spend a lot of time waiting around at soccer and baseball practices, would love to be able to catch up on shows. With 2 young kids, not a whole lotta time to do that at home lol

Not a popular opinion, but i will ALWAYS use the fob, with a key card as backup. The last thing I want is my phone tied to the car as a key. My car parks literally right outside my living room. I have to put my fob in a Faraday pouch to keep it from constantly triggering the car. Not very practical to do that with a phone.

Exactly my situation too
 
Id hope that as fob issues have cleared up, Lucid could decrease the active zone for the fob down to several feet to prevent false activations.

My new UWB front door lock watches the approach speed and angle of the PAAK to determine if it should unlock, and how quickly. Our cars could to the same, measuring approach speed rather than just distance.

Sometime before the end of the year, maybe even in Q3 like they promised but definitely not this week.
 
I'm pretty happy with the software now. Just need the car to not auto unlock with the key fob so far away / on the other side of the wall. Halo secure improvements would be welcome
 
Get a Faraday box I got one to preserve battery life, but also to prevent criminals from reading the fob

Criminals can't spoof, clone, or relay Gravity's fob, as it uses UWB rather than Bluetooth.

Just so everyone knows the fob contains a sensitive accelerometer that for all practical purposes keeps the fob off until it is disturbed. There is no need and in fact no advantage of a Faraday box if you place your key undisturbed anywhere. Once disturbed the fob will try to communicate with the car for only 60 seconds before going back to sleep.

Agree. Mine sits on the kitchen table which is about 10 to 15 feet from the car in the garage. The car only unlocks when I pick up or move the key from the table, the rest of the time the car stays locked. Stop fiddling with the key people! 😂
 
Our Gravity unlocks when one of us comes home or leaves through the front door even though we aren't going into the garage where it's parked. Then it sends a notification saying auto unlock is temporarily disabled. I get a lot of those notifications.

I keep my fob in a drawer in the floor above the car. It gets jiggled periodically, leading to frequent auto-unlock disabled notifications. NBD as i just press the driver's door handle to open if it doesn't present when I walk up. Better than turning off auto lock/unlock.

I assume this notification is controlled by the phone app's "Safety and Security" notification on/off setting. It would be nice to be able to turn off the auto unlock disabled notification without turning off other safety & security-related notifications.

I have a folded wash rag in a drawer I put mine on. With that I can pound on the cabinet or floor near it and even open the drawer slowly and it won't wake up. Without the rag just walking by the cabinet wakes it up.

Same for me. It’s pretty sensitive. If your keys are hanging from a hook, the vibration from the front door opening and closing must be able to trigger the key. Otherwise I can’t explain the alert I get for the disabled Auto Unlock.
