When my Air went in and I asked for a Gravity loaner they borderline laughed

I got the same reply last year when I asked if there was a sapphire available. They laughed and laughed, I cried.

That’s what I’d think. I’m heavily interested and living with one for as long as I had the loaner would’ve made a good case for them getting more of my money in a year when the lease is up.

You should have told them that...however, I have a suspicion that they have fewer Gravity loaners and they didn't have one at that time.

They’re in short supply and if I was a Gravity owner, I’d likely be displeased with an Air loaner so I do understand.

It’s actually just the first part, heh; they’re just in short supply, so people get whatever is available. That includes enterprise if it’s all that’s available. Won’t always be that way of course.

But you can also wait, and people are too often in a rush. If you have a failure, sure - ASAP is obvious. But if you need something minor, and want/need a gravity loaner or want to try one, or whatever, make nice with your service manager and suggest you’re happy to wait until one is available. They don’t have to take your car immediately, and can call you back when one is available.

But people don’t like waiting.

I'm on day 3.5 with the GGT loaner. Great car and man...impressive power for such a heavy thing. When you launch it it almost feels ike full throttle in a speed boat...the front rises up. Some other completely random observations:
- I feel they could do a better job of optimizing the screen real estate...lots of dead space in front of you, and the HUD is very redundant and I find it distracting.
- Also, for the life of me I can't figure out how to fold the 3rd row seats up flush against the second row. Or do they not? If not, that's kind of unforntatel you can't get a completely flat trunk with the third row folded down.
- Second row all power seats are amazing for the kids in the car seats.
- Ride height adjustment really makes this vehicle feel like 2 or 3 vehicles in one. It drives very differently on "low" vs "standard" or "high" height.
- Windshield wipers do not go fast enough in heavy white-out rain I went through yesterday.
- I actually really like the steering wheel shape for this...it just works. It's like a more complete "yoke" that works 10x better.
- soft close doors are a nice touch
- frunk is truly massive and needs to be seen in person
- I have white with stealth...it's nice but a little "egg-ish". I would personally chose that land rover type green or that coppery color.
- The animated interior color is funky...I've never seen that in a vehicle before.
- several interior and exterior trim pieces are a bit misaligned. This loaner has 4k miles on it. Reminds me of earlier Teslas.
- the dream drive I tried on regular streets (basically adaptive lane keep cruise control), is OK, but surprisingly bouncy back and forth within the lane. My wife's XC 90 tracks the same roads better. They have some work to do there.
- it's a heavy car...you can feel it when just cruising at a constant speed that a lot of power is being used to propel this thing. It would be very interesting to compare this GGT with a Touring. I'm sure it still has enough pep but the 828 hp is definitely a good thing for something this heavy.
- via the key fob, the car locks and unlocks instantly. Makes me dread going back to the Air as to that aspect.

3rd row store in the well behind them - remove the cover and they store, similar to the Dodge Caravan/Pacifica .

Hmm front end should not come up unless the rear is doing the same
Proper launch configuration should make the entire car rise
No tires smoking and no rear squats just straight up is full weight transfer to the ground
