This thread thoWe set Lucid a target of Zero three months ago and they can’t even hit that
Large incentives is accurate. I think the incentives on my lease totaled around $20kFinally selling off their final hundred or so 2026 Gravitys so late in the year is not a sign of "things moving up" because it has required large incentives to move inventory. Canceling a shift/laying off production staff at AMP-1 to reduce costs/payroll is not good for a company in its growth phase. The latest earnings call made it pretty clear that they're cutting costs so they have enough money to make it to Cosmos's launch. That's not a reassuring sign. It's a sign that this company is in survival mode.
Yes, PIF can always invest more money into the company (further diluting shares in the process) but CEER is them hedging their bet. If CEER, somehow (and I doubt they would), shows more promise, Lucid might be cut off from further funding. Or even just delayed funding if PIF wants CEER to succeed more. Even if CEER ends up failing, it still doesn't change the fact that Lucid's future is about as murky as it's ever been.
The only thing that matters for the company is making sure Cosmos is bulletproof when it goes on sale. And even then, it might not matter if they're aiming for an audience that isn't large enough to meet their (and PIF's) revenue target.
When I got my Schwab alert it dipped below $4 I knew I had to come check this thread out. Can’t wait for sub $3 again. This thread tho![]()
Short term strategy is to convert inventory to cash. Discounts accomplish that objective. Hopefully that cash is then put into customer service. For all the money that has poured into Lucid, it appears to me that cap ex has been the priority over op ex. We've seen factories built and new technologies pursued but at the expense of day to day operations. They've fixed most of the vehicle issues that had turned people off from getting the Gravity, so I'm guessing their strategy is to get them into as many people's hands as possible via discounts to help improve brand image through word of mouth. They, of course, still need to fix corporate issues like service availability.
Some sort of automated trolling? When I got my Schwab alert it dipped below $4 I knew I had to come check this thread out. Can’t wait for sub $3 again.![]()
I literally LOL'ed at this hahaWe set Lucid a target of Zero three months ago and they can’t even hit that
Agreed. All depends upon Cosmos actually ramping in H2 2027 and being solid from day one. The Cosmos delay is already priced into the stock at this point. Any further delays would cause another reset. On the other hand, if Cosmos arrives a bit earlier, that would also cause a repricing of the stock. With no news, it's a slow decline.I've just been holding. Not ready to dump and run but certainly not going to keep pumping money into a company that almost constantly fails to deliver on its targets. When Lucid starts meeting its goals and targets then I will jump back in but until then you can get better returns elsewhere. Not like the stock is going to magically jump to $20 overnight so when it starts to climb back up you can still jump back in and make some money (hopefully)
Get my shovelThis thread tho![]()
What's that saying again? Everyone's a genius in a bull market
Since I placed my order for a '27 AGT, I've been tracking the '26 Air inventory--i.e., the 2026 inventory visible to me on the Lucid website. (Filter: Air, 2026, Any miles.)Lucid has less than one hundred 2026 Gravity models in inventory in the US. They overproduced roughly five thousand 2026 model year vehicles in Q4 2025 and Q1 2026 combined. Some are probably Airs, but looks like they have sold almost all their 2026 inventory. Things seem to be moving up. If cost cuts materialize as Napoli mentioned, should end the year on a high note.
I absolutely hate it when anyone gives me investment advice.Same question. Why do you care when someone posts about something. And i think everything you wrote here applied to you as well
By the way, you will get the chance to buy in 3’s today or by end of the week.
The past is so predictable.I absolutely hate it when anyone gives me investment advice.
