Just got my Gravity. If I drive WITHOUT the key fob: Does passive auto lock/unlock work when leaving my car? Not working for me. With just my phone as mobile key or the card...it wont auto lock....

No, auto lock will not work without key fob. I 100% would not have accepted this new Gravity without key fob. Yes you can use the key card but that is supposed to be mainly for emergency backup use in case key fob fails or to give to valet. Not having at least one key fob (especially right now without PAAK) is a horrible oversight. Once PAAK comes out, that should also allow passive lock/unlock.
 
So, I did unlock my Gravity with the key card and just walked away after driving it one time. As I recall, it takes about 8 minutes (?) for it to lock up and go to sleep. You can tap the lock button on the cockpit panel while exiting the vehicle.
 
When PaaK is released, it will auto lock if you walk away with just your phone.

If you use a keycard, it cannot know you walked away.

You'll want to carry the key fob until PAAK arrives - hoping within a few months.

I have a key fob!!! Was just asking if it works without it. With my air I never carried my fob

Got it thanks for clarifying!! I also have an Air and wasn’t following this PaaK stuff.

That really reads like you got the car WITHOUT the keyfob! 🤣 That period is crucial!

The fob is more or less in constant communication with the Gravity, so passive lock/unlock works with the fob.

The phone only works when you actively use the app (PAAK hasn’t been implemented yet, as others mentioned), and the key card only works when pressed against the B-pillar. There is no way for the Gravity to know when you are approaching or leaving without the key fob.
