Air software version 2.10.0

You know that they woll not do that, right ?
;=)

Still.. Do you think they would care for sign what members here state? I believe they do have more important issues to solve..

It seems "Big Brother" has a new set of rules, Federal regulations under FMVSS No. 208 (Occupant Crash Protection) and FMVSS No. 101 (Controls and Displays) specify functional performance criteria. The compliance date of this final rule is September 1, 2026, for the front seatbelt warning system requirements and September 1, 2027, for the rear seat belt warning systemrequirements, with optional early compliance permitted. :
    • Standard Symbols: If text is not used, indicators must rely on recognized international symbols designating the seat belt function.
    • Visibility and Location: The visual alert must be clearly legible and positioned so that the driver can readily spot it from the normal seated driving position. [1]
    • Operational Timing: Under updated rules, visual warnings must activate upon vehicle startup (for a minimum duration, such as 60 seconds) and trigger change-of-status alerts if a belt is unbuckled while driving. [1, 2]
🤷‍♀️

They could have just added the new symbol to the existing graphics in their original location. It was perfectly visible to the driver in it's location and aside from the missing symbol, was perfectly clear which seats were not buckled.

Exactly

re-posting this here for the Air Pure owners out there who got the recall notice:

I just got our AIr Pure '25 back from service for the Half Shaft Bolt recall. Millbrae SC. They had it 2 weeks and did indeed find the bolts needed to be replaced. AND, they said the rear drive unit was damaged by the issue to the point where it also was replaced. I asked yesterday how many Airs have needed the RDU replaced. He said it was the first one he was aware of. We never had an issue with it, but thankful it got fixed!

Wow, that’s wild. They had my car for about 2 1/2 days down here, and there was no damage, but they replaced the bolts in an abundance of caution.

So I’ve actually had a new issue crop up twice now under this latest update which I’ve had for a while. I’ve noticed twice now after an overnight charge in my garage when I get in the car, all audio and I mean all audio even the turn signal sounds and onboard notifications, as well as CarPlay radio etc., are completely off. If I do a reset or the car goes to sleep and then wakes up, the sound comes back. I’m not sure if anyone else has had this particular issue, but it definitely only recently started happening under this current software version.

Wow. Haven’t gotten that one for a very long time. That’s one of those startup sequence issues, usually. Try a nuke reset, rather than just a logo reset. Not sure that’s really any different, but worth a shot.

This bug has been around for a long time and I still see it occasionally with the latest software. It does seem to happen less often now than a year ago.

I did have this happen once last week, since the 2.10.0 release but it's been fine so far after I did an Air Logo reset.

Happened to me once a few months ago..Mic X Brake reset fixed it for me and I had to do this reset three times in sequence...the first two times it did not fix it .so stick with the resets of the first one or two don't do it

Is this software version still being rolled out? Still waiting on this one.

Still won’t install the update because of that hideous seat belt graphic. The previous one was elegant, informative, and classy. This new one is an ugly downgrade, belonging in substantially cheaper cars, not ones competing with high-priced alternatives.

BRING THE OLD GRAPHIC BACK, LUCID. Stop with the stupidity, and fix what needs to be fixed and leave alone what works.
This is a weird hill to die on, imho, but you do you

I had to reach out to customer service. You’ll most likely get put into the call back queue to speak to an agent. I received the update the following day

Anyone else having this issue?

Since 2.10.0, the pull down tab for the Music app keeps disappearing on the pilot panel. (See pic) This isn’t a problem for the navigation tab

I keep having to do an Air reset to get it back. @marqie Is this a known issue?
