Gravity Grand Touring Lemon

We took possession of our Gravity Grand Touring on 11/25/2025, and today marks the start of the 11th week we have been without the vehicle (the third time it’s been at the Scottsdale, AZ service center). First, replacing the part that toggles between AC and DC charging (three weeks), second, addressing “Headlight Error” messages and the entire Cockpit Panel going dark while driving (five weeks), and most recently a repeat of the Cockpit Panel problems, as well as being unable to shift from Park after re-entering the vehicle from some appointment or errand.

Anyone else having similar problems with a Gravity (particularly a Grand Touring), or is ours (as I suspect) a lemon? When the car runs as it was built to do, it is the best vehicle I have ever owned (I’m 78 years old, so quite the history of good vehicles).

That's been repeatedly my comment since I took delivery of mine in December. Hope things work out for you. The problem is that it gets to a point where you can't trust the vehicle any longer. Good luck!

The patience of Lucid owners really is remarkable. Of all the stories like this shared here, I wouldn’t be able to handle any of them and would have invoked the lemon law as soon as I could and moved on. Who cares how good a car drives if it is sitting in a service bay totally undriveable?

My BMW 750 was a phenomenal driver - fast, quiet, imposing, beautiful. It was also a POS that I couldn’t wait to get rid of because of the massive anxiety aand constant hassles it introduced into my life. Who has time for that?

In 2026 it should be table stakes that your new car opens, starts, and drives every time.

That some vehicles fall short of that expectation sometimes doesn’t mean it isn’t still table stakes.

Got mine in December. Can confirm it opens, starts, and drives every time. I spent 3.5 weeks in the SC for the seatbelt recall, a coolant valve that was throwing errors, and a rear reflector that cracked. Other than that, it's been a dream to drive. Hope they get you sorted out.
