V 3.6 potential issues

Hold bottom left buttons on both steering wheel touch pads (X and microphone) + brake pedal. Hold all 3 for 10-15 seconds you will hear a chime and an indication on the screen to leg to go initiate reboot. This reboots the infotainment/screens. Ignore all other screen notifications that may pop up before that first chime.

If you keep holding beyond the first chime after ~20-30 total seconds you will hear a double chime but no indicator on the screen. Let go - this is a whole car reboot.

FWIW - I never bother with the infotainment reboot, I always go to the full double chime root in the rare situations I feel like a reboot is necessary.
 
I have a 2026 Gravity and software 3.5.7 failed to download twice, I have called customer support four times and they keep telling me they will resend the download but nothing so far and it's been two weeks. Any ideas on what I should do since I know I need this update to get to 3.6.

P.S. I also have this error message every time I drive and want it gone lol

Might have to do to service they can manually flash it there I think

What is TCU?

Also for the AC are the second and third row controls tied together? i.e. if I enable the second row AC will the third row AC also come on?

It’s like a modem for the car. It crashes. You can try unplugging it and plugging it back in.

3rd row AC is just how it is for now

The TCU is the computer that controls the infotainment, GPS, etc
 
I just had to replace mine after only 3 weeks of ownership. Also installed the fob update last week. Wild. I stocked up on the batteries.

The infotainment reboot is just faster, and if you know your problem is infotainment (“there’s no sound”, for example) then it’s faster to just do that. 🤷‍♂️

It does not control the infotainment; that’s the CCC. (I know, lots of acronyms)

The TCU is the Telematics Control Unit. It controls cellular, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, etc. Think of it as “communications”

Early fob firmware chewed up batteries quickly. Since you updated it, the battery should last much longer.

I don't know if I'm lucky and just have a good fob but I've always recommended the RetailDigitals brand on Amazon. I put a new one in my fob on December 19th when I got the Gravity and it lasted almost exactly 6 months. Not great for a fob but certainly better than a lot of other reports here. I also keep the key in a faraday box when it's in my house.

I was an early adopter of AirTags and the bitter coating on a lot of batteries caused problems in them, I started using their 2032 batteries because they don't have the coating and still use them for everything I own that use button cells, including a bunch of film cameras I own.

I was initially entering my profile pin. Didn’t work. Then I tried my Lucid password and all was fine.

I wanted to provide a brief update regarding the situation. While I cannot confirm whether the issue is directly related to Wi-Fi, I observed that when my car was not connected to Wi-Fi, it accepted the password I have consistently been using. Additionally, I noticed that the app connects to the car more reliably and the vehicle wakes up more quickly when the Wi-Fi is turned off.
