Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

My wife got her update on Thursday but I still haven't been notified of the update. Last update to 3.5.7, I got my notice about an hour before she did. Our cars are identical except for color. I spoke with Customer Service yesterday and they said that they couldn't do a push. Do OTAs happen over the weekend? Any ideas other than to just wait?
You just have to wait, there's no way to force the update on our end. They just do them in batches but there doesn't seem to be any criteria that makes one car get it sooner or later.

I would have thought that "batches" would have some kind of order. Since we ordered together and our cars came two weeks apart (painting, I guess), I would have expected the updates to have come in similar fashion.

I've had mine through a couple updates now and in some I got it really early and others pretty late in the cycle. I've seen all kinds of speculation about it being based on build, etc but none of it matches my experience thus far.

OTAs can happen at any time. 3.6.0 has currently rolled out to just over half of the fleet. I imagine you'll see it on your car within a week.
The OTA order among cars varies from rollout to rollout. It's not the same every time.

It won’t pass on the right. I think a few, including in @Cyp video, the car won’t purposefully break the law and pass on the right. You can initiate the lane change manually tho without turning DD off
It'll be interesting to see how our sense of road manners slowly changes (if it does) as more and more vehicles are driven by computers that actually follow the traffic rules.

Passing on the right unfortunately is the only way to deal with left lane bandits. I’ve actually had people give me the finger after patiently driving behind them for a few miles , signaling with my lights and getting completely ignored and finally going around on the right. I blame the demise of drivers ED and law enforcement not giving warnings or tickets to these idiots
I've never lived somewhere the police would ticket a driver in the left lane who is going the speed limit but obstructing traffic. I want to move to that alternative universe!

We have not been able to deduce a discernible order in the past, aside from the “batches” of early testers, etc.

Washington State it is for you then, because the law here is the left lane is for passing only, regardless of speed limit.

Under RCW 46.61.100, if a roadway has two or more lanes going in the same direction, you must drive in the right-hand lane (or center lane on 3+ lane roads for entering/exiting) unless "overtaking another vehicle" or "when traveling at a speed greater than the traffic flow."

Not that I don't see someone nearly every day camping out oblivious in the left lane here, not passing anyone, going slower than the prevailing traffic and forcing everyone to pass them on the right which is dangerous. But legally, they are supposed to move back right even if they are going at or above the speed limit if they aren't actively passing. Occasionally highway patrol will ticket for it here, but not often enough.

I'm glad Lucid programmed this first go at hands-free self-driving to not pass on the right on its own, and made it aware enough to move back right if a faster car is coming up from behind. If only every car was self-driving.

For context, you should be on at least version 3.5.7 by now. If you haven't received any updates in several months, I recommend reaching out to your service advisor to check if there is an issue with your vehicle.
I am on 3.5.7. I thought the new 3.6 was released

Yes, 3.6.0 has been released and 3.6.0 is what many folks are commenting on here. The reason for the question is if you don't have 3.5.7 installed you will not be able to get 3.6.0. Lucid's OTA setup requires that you get all releases in order (especially the 3.5.7 release as 3.5.7 was an under-the-hood update which made background changes (I heard one of the changes was changing the software updater on the car). So if 3.5.7 is not installed then 3.6.0 can not be installed. Since you have 3.5.7 you should be good to go and your number just hasn't come up yet.

One thing I will say is that the OTA process is going to have to be sped up if Lucid is going to go mass market (like Lucid hopes with the Cosmos) otherwise an OTA cycle could take months

It is released. You haven't received it yet. It will download to your car sooner or later.

Sorry that ain't gonna happen. With the AI revolution lazy programmers let AI figure out the rules from what others are doing on the road. Kind a like how high school e-bikers have gotten bolder and bolder as they see what others around them are getting away with. Only AI will learn quicker and act stupider.

And I thought the feral e-bikers were only in my areas 😂 I worry for those kids safety the way they rip through traffic

So much this. The number of entitled drivers that think the left lane is their personal lane to go 90-100MPH in and that every other car should move out of their way these days is bonkers. Especially here in San Diego. To me a light flash is a good indicator to slow and match the speed of the person to my right because they must be trying to warn me of my unsafe speed, right? 🤣

I've been doing 85-90 and in the left lane and had people tailgate and flash lights at me I've even had multiple people do this in the damn carpool lane when there were cars in front of me like they were expecting the entire carpool lane to empty out for them to go faster.
San Diego Express Lanes are no joke. Wild West. 80 mph minimum

Has anyone had difficulty charging your Gravity after the upgrade? For some reason my home charger which has been problem free now continues to shut off during charging. I have no idea if it is related to the update but I am not sure what to do.

Hasn't been an issue since the update for me. Did you restart after the update? That's the only thing that ever remedies the situation if there's anything that we as end users can do.

Another annoying problem on 3.6 is that brake intervention on reverse is always on, regardless of how you configure that in parking settings. The car will slams on the brakes when it sees ghosts. Very irritating.
