Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

There is a way to make noise when you lock it. Before walking away, open and close the Frunk or Trunk, but when you hit the close button RUN away so that the Key Fob loses connection before the Frunk/Trunk closes. It baffles me why they included a honk for that case but not for normal locking.
Also if you have auto lock/unlock disabled and use the fob to lock the car double pressing the lock button causes the car to chirp (not the horn like it does when the frunk or trunk are open but the same chirp as when you open/close those) so it certainly has the ability to do it.

The release notes recommended a full sleep (power off and restart) after installing. Did you do that?

Either way, that should fix this issue. If it keeps happening, there is likely something wrong with your cameras and you should schedule service.
I've been running 3.6 for several days without issues. This happened today.

So the problem of weird issues creeping up with uptime continues.

I can confirm that right after the install, the UI stays the same, which seems to be a bug. As soon as I started driving, the new items appeared including Hands-Free Drive Assist, but they were marked as temporarily unavailable (which is good). What surprised me was that everything became available literally 20 to 30 seconds (not minutes) after pulling onto the freeway.

This might have been mentioned here already, but based on my observations, the frunk opens way more reliably now. There is a noticeable delay right after the unlock and before the lid actually starts lifting. Also, like many have already pointed out, the walk-away auto lock/unlock works significantly faster and feels much more stable.

By the way, is there any simple way to open the frunk without pulling the key fob or phone out of your pocket? Pretty much every car I've owned over the last 15 years had a feature like this either a kick-to-open sensor or you just stand near the trunk with the key for 5 seconds and it opens automatically.

Yes. After the update and before moving the car I started browsing the settings. I was specifically looking for the 'Conservative/Assertive' setting and did not see it. I pulled out of the garage and started driving. After several minutes DD Pro became available but I didn't do anything with it. I did not check settings again until I stopped at my destination and the 'Conservative/Assertive' options were now there.
Thanks for your response. I'm hoping mine will do the same. I drove it for 1½ hours this morning with no change. I'll be driving it for about 600 miles on I-95 next week. We'll see what happens. Fingers crossed 🤞

Sorry if this has been mentions (leaving on a 1700-mile road trip in the morning and taking the Gravity), but is there a key fob update in 3.6 also?

Interesting little bug - verifying ID on our second Gravity caused our first Gravity's profile name and pic to be overridden lol

i don't think so, at least I didn't update mine and it's at v 02.35.08

There isn't an update for the fob itself, but the car side software has updates related to the key fob and the key fob seems to be working much better (at least from my experience)

Don't know if this will help. In the Lucid app I went to software update and click on it. Then I clicked on keyfob and that said I needed to up date the keyfob. I did not because mine is working great.

Same name and pic as the second Gravity's profile. Can't really tell if the settings were changed since both profiles have the same settings, although at least the driver seat position didn't get overridden

First, I'm excited about the update. Sounds great. Unfortunately I'm having a problem. After the update, it asked me to verify my profile. I entered what I thought was my profile and it came back with "Incorrect Password" with a footnote to go to lucidmotors.com/portal to change it. Since it is sending me to the website, I assume it is the same password for the car and website. (Am I wrong?) I logged into the portal using the first password and it worked. I then logged out and clicked "Forgot my Password". I changed it, logged into the website and all was fine. Went to the car, and the password still does not work.

I hope I'm missing something simple here but would appreciate some quick help. Thanks.
Try it with WiFi off. It will work

You might want to look closely at what special characters you use. The valid list for the web site are not the same as the car and the length of the string is not the same either.

First 3 hour drive since the 3.6 update. Mixed bag.

Key fob opened the car yards away a few times and did not respond a few times as i sat next to the door waiting.

Hands free took about 20 minutes on a two lane non divided road to calibrate and then was activated.

Hands free is pretty nice but there were a few times where it said hands free available and then a minute later, hands free not available in this area and then back to hands free available. Switched back and forth about 6 times.

Do not like the new correction on lane assist. Almost makes you worry it is going to over correct.

I am on conservative driving style and it really slows down too much for curves. As in angering the people behind you slow. Should slow down maybe 2-3mph and instead is doing 10+. I just take over at that point.

Efficiency went down for the first 30 minutes of the trip and then seemed to smooth out. This is taking into account terrain etc. i lost 5% of my estimated arrival time writhing the first 30 miles. Then it went back up and i arrived within 1% the remaining 3 hours.

I haven’t seen this mentioned, but on the car guidance pilot panel screen where you show the entire route, it now acts like CarPlay and enlarges the route and lets the completed part of the route flow off screen. You no longer see the full route from start to finish.

Also, the map did not show a lot of chargers that i knew to be along the route, especially EA. At first, all my settings were turned off, so all charging options were off. I turned them back on and it only showed Chargepoint. But there were EA and tesla chargers along the route as well. I wonder if that is a google thing.

This is a nice update, but i really wanted PAAK.
