Gravity GT
Three months into my Lucid Gravity GT lease, and I wasn't sure I'd ever be back. Some of you know I owned an Air Dream and sold it after 8 months. Unusable software, constant hardware issues. And yet it was still the most fun I've ever had driving a car, which is exactly why coming back to Lucid after 4 years away made me nervous.

Here's how it's gone.

The Gravity made sense for where my life is right now. We've got 3 kids, I run carpool, and two of them play baseball, so I'm hauling gear constantly. My wife has an R1S and I didn't want a second one, but I still wanted electric, range, and speed. The Gravity checks every box, and I've fully embraced the look. People can say what they want. I call mine the Van Man and I mean it as a compliment.

What I was most scared of was the software, and that's where the story flips. It's been solid. I've done a soft reset maybe 2 or 3 times total, and every single time that cleared up whatever the issue was. After my Air experience, this is night and day.

It's not flawless. The microphones are my one real gripe, and on calls people say I sound like I'm at the end of a tunnel. Service already knows the issue and can fix it, but my appointment is 3.5 weeks out, so I'm living with it for now.

Everyone's experience with a car is different, and plenty of people have had a rougher go than me. But I wanted to share a positive one for once. Is it perfect? No. Do I wish it did a few more things? Absolutely, and I'm hoping OTAs get there. For what it is though, I'd lease it again in a heartbeat.

Good to hear. You've got to make a video to indirectly counter the Engineering Explained one posted a few days ago on the Air!

Welcome back, old pal!
