Got car 31 Dec at 3pm ... delivered from AZ on enclosed trailer.
Ordered bronze and fully equipped 5 seater hoping the later I got it the more bugs would be resolved. Knew being far from service center was a risk.
Car was fine, a few fit and finish issues which I reported to SA. Got a call a week later from Service Center in Scottsdale, they would schedule a mobile tech at some point. Then crickets. Car drove fine. No major issues. Yes the frunk does not open first try, and I hate the cut off corners on mirror image, etc. but otherwise all ok.
Then I started getting the error message "Charging unavailable: Contact customer service". But nothing bad happened. I have an Autel 50 amp charger in my garage and car charged no problem. I posted, no one else really had same problem. I also read in the notes for 3.41 that this error message was supposed to be fixed. Note there is no error message identical in the owners manual ... There is DC Fast Charging Unavailable.
Anyway time passed and finally SC and I agreed to take it to a DC fast charger and see what happens. Tried 3 different ones ... nada. Would not charge.
So on the 16th of April, my car with all of 704 miles on it was picked up an shipped to AZ. After two weeks of sitting, they got to it and did some stuff ... what little I learned was that there was a connection or something in the back that was not fastened properly (manufacturing issue?). Another irony, I saw they had to drive the car to local store with a DC fast charger and plug it in to see if it charged ... I got billed $20 on my card for that. How a car can leave the factory without that being tested or found is confusing to me. How do they charge cars there, all AC?
Anyway on the 6th of May they ordered a truck to return my gravity ... still no truck as of this writing.
The irony is I just ordered a truck to take my older Acura (which needed a few very minor repairs in 11 years) to St Louis. It comes tomorrow. So I will be without a car ... not the end of the world I have an ebike. But I can get a truck faster than Lucid. I am slightly annoyed.
So what happens when I need a annual service? Oh, and there is no mobile tech for this area and my understanding is that a mobile tech cannot do the full annual service per the SC.
So I just fired up SC and Runbuggy and everyone is actively trying to get me transportation ...
So I knew the risk. I was in the Army for 29 years so not much bothers me, but if you are far from the mothership this is your warning :).

And one more day and still no truck assigned - 7 days post repair. One more irony. I told them I did not need a rental car because I could get around with my Acura and ebike which I can. I was trying to save Lucid money and I hate rentals ... since they are hemorrhaging money. Unlike a lot of the posters I do not get offered a Lucid loaner. So how much did they save for what will be 30 days without my gravity? $3000 -$4000? With that savings they could have easily upped the ante for a truck to expedite it's return.

They don’t have fast chargers at the service centers?!?

I declined a Lucid loaner because the first two they sent me both broke. One had to be toed back to Washington, the other one just had random errors every day and drove me insane.

Now I got a Jeep Grand Kareoke.

They don't... Only a couple of L2 outside. When I have taken mine for service, they have used my mobile charger. One time they kept it and had to go back there to sort of force them to give it back to me. They ended up giving me a tangled and dirty one which was obviously not mine.

Have no idea. Got a bill for charging at Kroger-Frys 135 Phoenix AZ. Probably an EA station. SC said that is how they tested to see it worked. :) And I saved them $4k ...

Hi, @Sapper. I just sent you a DM.

Day 28 since car was picked up in Albuquerque and day 8 since repaired ... was typing no truck and literally just got a call ... Gravity will be here tonight or tomorrow early. So it appears Lucid expanded search for a hauler beyond Runbuggy. Yea, but it should not require elevation to take care of issues. Maybe one or two days max in shop, 24 days sitting (+ 1 day in transit to AZ). Not good math.

Lucid what I want from you is:
1. Survive
2. Figure out how annual service can be painless. a) Do I really need annual service at 12 months if you had the car a month and I may drive 5000 miles a year? ;b) Schedule a day ... I drive to Phoenix drop it off at 6:30 am and get it back that evening or early next morning. Saves you money saves me time; c) Find a mobile tech for my area.
3. Replace my side mirrors when you redesign them so they do not clip image at no or reasonable cost preferably at annual service next Jan/Feb.
4. And for every one else fix the HUD ... it really is mediocre. This includes matting the entire frame to look like dash to reduce reflection. :)

They need to get their sales and service in order…..listening Napoli? This needs to be a priority.

I agree about sales and service, however, perhaps "Silvio" or "Mr. Napoli", unless you have mutually agreed to call him by his last name. Respect and politeness from all forum members goes a long way to being heard in the right way. Sorry, don't want to sound disrespectful to you, but it's the way I was taught and the way I have taught my grandchildren.

No offense meant or should be taken. Thanks and Dream Ahead!

something must be wrong with their system, I went to pick up my rental yesterday and Lucid had it wrong in the system and I couldn't get it, and also a truck was supposed to come pick up my Lucid and I haven't heard a peep since and its been 4 days. Were they using "runbuggy" for yours?

He thinks he owns Lucid or the CEO just because he has a few shares.

Yes Runbuggy contacted me on the 6th but apparently was unable to get a truck in time. The person who called me today was USKO Auto Haul who said he was contacted Tues. So it appears they widened the net, but in all honesty have no idea who all they use regularly. And I turned down a rental because I bike a lot of places and had a second car for emergencies until yesterday.

oh they're legit they have hauled my Lucid 2-3 times.

Hopefully Lucid gave up on "run buggy" because the same thing happened to me, I got a message from Run Buggy that they would have a transport and then I never heard from them again and my car is just sitting there.

Let's not pile on. He has a right to his opinion, I just want the forum to maintain the respect Lucid has for all of our opinions.

I stayed in a Hilton once but Paris wouldn’t meet with me
I found her to be WILD! But, those were her old, party days! 🤣

Ignoring the irrelevant comments from the usual peanut gallery... this past week was DOT "blitz" week (actually only 12-14 May) and may have caused the smaller haulers some headaches.
