I have lost the functionality of the GPS in my 23 Air GT. I went for a drive and the Lucid map app worked fine all of the way to the destination. When I got back in the car to drive home, the map thought it was already at home and the GPS never figured out where we actually were. In order to use Google Maps with Android, I have to turn off the phone WiFi so it doesn't connect to the Lucid hotspot, and set it to not auto-reconnect. Then the phone runs on it's cellular service and can figure out where we are. If the phone runs on the WiFi hotspot, it gets its location as home also.

I've tried the X - mic - brake reset as well and the Air logo reset and the turn signal lock and walk away reset and none have resolved the issue.

Wondering if anyone has come across this and resolved it. Is there any other way to reset that might resolve this. Is it possible that the GPS sensor is blocked somehow? Does anyone know where it is located?

thanks

I opened the app to schedule a service appointment and found that I could not schedule anyplace within 400 miles of San Diego. All dates shown (that would be all of May and June) at all service centers south of San Jose are grayed out. Is this a common experience? How does one get the car serviced if the service centers are not taking appointments?

Just to follow up - I drove over to the local service center to see if I could schedule an appointment, and they said sure - and they also said they could reset the TPU while I waited. So if you are having issues finding a service slot on the app and live near a center - it's certainly worth stopping in and seeing if they can get you on the calendar. TPU reset seems to have done the trick.

Just in general, these days you do need to call the service center.
IMO Lucid should remove the service booking functionality from the phone app if it isn't working, and replace it with the phone number of the nearest service center.
The app is giving people the wrong impression @marqie
